Branche Restaurant, Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Accra

Mother's day was crowded as expected, but when I called to confirm the hours of the lunch buffet, no one informed me that it was necessary to make a reservation, at least for the special occasion. Also, when we arrived, service was slow and disorganized. Several people were annoyed at the long lines and long wait. There was the option of ordering a la carte, instead of having the buffet, but the server who helped us misinformed us that we could order upstairs at the cafe and the menu was the same. So we went to the cafe only for the lady at the register to correctly let us know that if we wanted something from the kitchen we had to order it downstairs at the restaurant itself, and that the menus were different.

Fortunately, we were told that instead of eating inside we could eat outside by the pool which would have been okay if it were not so hot. The food looked and smelled very good, but we didn't stay to eat it. With a toddler, it was not going to be worth it. Instead we ordered some meat pies to go from the cafe (which were delicious!). Finally, the live all ladies band was a great touch, but as usual here in Accra, the sound was waaayyy too loud.

The food there is nice but I made a reservation and someone took my table outside was soo hot and bcs of that we wanted to look up the takeaway menu it has become more expensive over...

Nice place to come. Especially their Sunday buffets. Relatively affordable for the options and variety you get. Gone multiple times and...
