Hibiscus is a restaurant that offers a delightful outdoor dining experience that is sure to impress. The simple yet cozy decor adds a touch of understated elegance to the atmosphere, creating a relaxing and inviting ambiance that is perfect for a pleasant dining experience.

As a fan of authentic Brazilian drinks, I was pleased to find that the caipirinha at Hibiscus was made with Pitu, just like how it's done in Brazil. The bartender did an incredible job of capturing the essence of this classic cocktail, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of authenticity they brought to the drink. It was like taking a sip of Brazil right here in Accra.

For appetizers, my sister and I ordered the octopus carpaccio and the beef carpaccio, and we were blown away from the first bite. Both dishes were a true masterpiece of flavor and presentation, with each ingredient complementing the other in perfect harmony. It was a unique and unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.

For our mains, we ordered the steak and the seafood linguine, both of which were executed to perfection. The steak was cooked to medium-rare perfection, which is no easy feat, and was seasoned just right. The seafood linguine was a true delight, with each bite bursting with fresh, flavorful ingredients that left my sister raving about the dish long after we finished.

For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and creme brulee, which, while delicious, were a bit underwhelming for the price. They were good, but not quite up to the same level as the rest of the meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend Hibiscus for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Accra. The food is expertly prepared, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top-notch. It's a little pricier than some other restaurants in the area, but the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth it. I'll definitely be returning for another...

A horrendous in dinning experience . If you want to order a pizza sit down, pick your phone, order some take out, pick it and bring it to your table because it is the only way you will get some food. For someone reason they just don’t want to serve you a pizza. When it comes to ordering any other meal make sure you interrogate the waiter on what you actually ordered. 9 out of 10 they got it wrong. Go over the order line by line. They never have and will never get the service right. They seem to be baffled by the reaction of people not receiving what they ordered and even more surprised that someone may show some dissatisfaction when they don’t actually receive their order. The manager may also come up to you, stare at you and then walk away without saying a word. Don’t be surprised. Also make sure you check the bill! The waiter broke a bottle of wine before it was served and we had a slight discussion because they tried justifying as to why we had to pay for it. This is not from a one time experience but over several occasions. These are not singular experiences but they happen over and over again.

The takeout experience is different. You get what you want in a timely manner. The food is good and I would recommend it....

As Italians, we say Hibiscus is the best Italian restaurant in Accra. Pastas and pizzas are authentic. Delicious stake (tender and tasty) and excellent seafood. The chefs,Antonio and Prince, can easily accommodate special requests including gluten-free (pasta, fish and meat). Good bar and kind service! There are two types of pizza, “pizza alla romana” which is Roman style pizza with a thin and crispy crust, or the pizza Napoletana “Neapolitan style” (on request as it is not written in the menu) which we strongly suggest as the chef himself is from Napoli. The Neapolitan pizza features a wonderful airy crust which has a perfect texture crisp outside and soft, airy and well structured inside. Additionally the menu of the restaurant has many options but is not overwhelming so it is easy to decide which dish to eat. There are various starters and meats, and a wonderful selection of pastas and pizzas. Upon request, gluten-free options are prepared to accommodate celiac needs (careful selection of ingredients and separate cooking). The chef is creative with the gluten free pasta format and sauce (I highly recommend alla Nerano - with Zucchini) Ambience is pleasant pizzeria-like, with garden and...

I went there on a Friday night and I would have regretted it if the food wasn’t so good😂. It was a very busy Friday night and it took forever for the food to come out. Also, my date’s food came much later than mine did. So that wasn’t the best. But this aside, the food was tasty. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and my date had their steak with mashed potatoes. We also got a magherita pizza to share. And the pizza was fantastic! One of the best I’ve ever had in Accra. Oh and the drinks were amazing! We both ordered passionfruit margaritas and enjoyed every drop of the drinks. I definitely want to come back here but on a day when they’re less busy.
