I recently dined at Punto Divino, and overall, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, with a cozy yet refined atmosphere that made for a lovely evening out.
The food was, without a doubt, the highlight. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the flavors were bold and perfectly balanced. I particularly enjoyed the Gnocchi which was cooked to perfection and paired with an exceptional wine recommendation from the sommelier. It was clear that the ingredients were of the highest quality, and the chefs took great care in their preparation.
That said, while the food and service were top-notch, the prices were a bit on the high side. While I don’t mind paying for quality, the bill did feel a bit steeper than I expected for the portion sizes and offerings. It’s the kind of place where you’ll pay a premium for the experience, which, in many ways, is justified, but it may not be somewhere you visit frequently if you're on a budget.
In conclusion, Punto Divino offers a fantastic dining experience with outstanding food and service, but be prepared to spend a little extra for the privilege. If you're looking for a special occasion or a memorable meal, it’s worth...
Read moreWe went in a group of 7 for dinner. Besides an apparently electric blackout, we have decided to get in, due to kind attendants at entrance that convinced us that lights would turn on soon.
Staff - Very kind but not professional. They didn't know exactly what to do firstly and after that ...
When I fell out of a broken chair all we had was shy apologises and a new plate. They have not even offered a compensation, discount for the embarrassing accident or minimally to clean up my clothes.
Food - Italian dishes were tasteful but in a very poor presentation (lettuce and a tomato slice asides). Meat was greasy and pasta was over cooked. Shrimps were not fresh. The pizza was OK, not the best of Paraty (I would go to Cidade pizzeria)
Ambient - A poorly decorated backyard and a live singer playing covers made our dinner really sad. A dish had a clutter of pasta clued in it. Bring your repellent spray.
Prices - very very expensive! Especially if you consider all above.
For R$ 1.200,00 (US$ 240.00 ), you can def take your family on one of those new fancy restaurants of...
