When you sit down they bring out beef cuts and you can select.
I was curious about entrecote as I thought it was something more like rib eye but it's not. So great to see that it wasn't like that.
When they brought all the beef i could see that they are not the best quality cattle. They have very little marbling. For US standards that would be considered USDA Select.
As for the cuts. I would recommend Prime Rib. That's basically bone in rib eye.
For their cooking, I ordered medium but it came medium well to well done consistency. Perhaps one reason is because it comes in a hot plate.
If you know a little bit about beef cutting technique you shouldn't cut beef when it's hot. It needs to be rested before cutting. With their hot plate technique it's losing all the juiciness and overcooks it.
As for the price, it's okay but not the best. Basically for 600g bone in rib eye + sides you're paying close to 150 R$ which is a little over 30USD. Having said that you shouldn't think that this is a good price because in the US you'd be paying more. Simply put it this way, in the US you'd be paying close to $40-70 for this but you'd be getting USDA Choice or Prime quality beef. So it's not a good idea to compare to the US. I'd compare here to Argentina as the quality of beef is similar and in Argentina you'd basically pay half of this.
Regardless this is the best beef place that I tried in this city. Therefore I'm ranking them 4 instead of 3.
To summarize this place would get 5 stars if they did below two points:
I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my experiences here have been extremely disappointing. While the food is undeniably delicious, the service is a complete letdown. On both of my visits, I've had to deal with careless errors that left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. During my first visit, they forgot two items from my order, and unfortunately, the same thing happened again during my second visit. This time, they forgot the mixed vegetables, rice, and a drink, which made for an incredibly frustrating experience. To make matters worse, we ordered more meat to fill the void, but they even managed to forget about that. All in all, my second visit turned into a complete waste of time, with us spending a whole hour waiting for more food. If this place doesn't get their act together, I'm afraid they'll continue to lose customers who expect more than...
Read moreFabulous charcoal-cooked barbecue with a variety of sides. I recommend the cheese stuffed red peppers with chimichurri! They have a large variety of meat cuts to choose from, cooked to your order. We had a large party and they were able to accommodate us with ease! One of the best, tall caipirinhas I've had in all my travels in Brazil! Outdoor seating only. Plenty of parking. Attentive, friendly service. Smaller location set off from the main street. I can't...
