Restaurants right on the edge of the beach, inherently creates a really nice atmosphere. You can look out over the ocean and see all the people having fun in the sun. Ended up sitting on the patio in the shade. Little children as street vendors will come up and try to sell you little bracelets and necklaces. It was very cute, though perhaps a bit annoying, did purchase one. They were not part of the restaurant, but were not discouraged from being there. There was also a guy playing guitar pretty well, he also did not seem to be associated with the restaurant as at some point he just walked out. But the music and the ambiance was nice on a beautiful sunny Florianopolis day.

The portions here are really big, and almost everything is fried.

Service was present and responsive, not excellent, but decent.

Had fresh squeezed, passion fruit and orange juice, that was delightful!

Had the breaded/fried beef and got a half portion, the half portion was big enough for three or four people to split and likey would not need anything else. For me and my friend it was way too much. Overall the food was decent, but not magical.

Also tried the Roe, very large and fried, about the size of a small banana.

Asked them for smaller portion sizes, but all the sizes are...

O Zeca Bar e Restaurante é, sem dúvida, o restaurante mais tradicional do Campeche. Fundado pelo seu Zeca, um antigo pescador da região, mantém viva a essência da culinária local com pratos extremamente saborosos. O peixe assado deles, seja a tainha na época certa, a anchova ou até o camarão, é sempre uma excelente escolha. Os pratos são muito bem servidos, acompanhados de arroz, fritas, salada, pirão de peixe e feijão, garantindo uma refeição completa e deliciosa.

Outro destaque é a jarrinha de suco, sempre muito saborosa e refrescante. O ambiente é charmoso, com um estilo rústico, mas bem cuidado e moderno ao mesmo tempo. O atendimento é muito bom, e apesar dos preços serem um pouco mais elevados, condizentes com restaurantes de praia, vale cada centavo pela qualidade da comida e pela tradição do local.

Além de tudo isso, o Zeca Bar e Restaurante tem um papel social importante no bairro, ajudando crianças da comunidade e apoiando órgãos públicos com diversas ações beneficentes. Isso torna a experiência ainda mais especial. Para quem visita, a dica é aproveitar a tainha assada na brasa durante a temporada, de abril a agosto, ou optar pela anchova grelhada, que fica com uma crosta irresistível. Um restaurante que merece reconhecimento e uma visita obrigatória para quem quer saborear a verdadeira...

Excellent taste, value and a lovely seaside view. I recommend the camarao sequência which is basically a set of fried stuffed crab, prawns prepared 3 ways, fried fish fillet with molho de camarao. It all came with VERY generous sides of rice, fries, salad, gravy. We got the 2 pax set but felt it would be suited to 3 heavy eaters or 4 pax for the variety and quantity. Nevertheless...
