Restaurants right on the edge of the beach, inherently creates a really nice atmosphere. You can look out over the ocean and see all the people having fun in the sun. Ended up sitting on the patio in the shade. Little children as street vendors will come up and try to sell you little bracelets and necklaces. It was very cute, though perhaps a bit annoying, did purchase one. They were not part of the restaurant, but were not discouraged from being there. There was also a guy playing guitar pretty well, he also did not seem to be associated with the restaurant as at some point he just walked out. But the music and the ambiance was nice on a beautiful sunny Florianopolis day.
The portions here are really big, and almost everything is fried.
Service was present and responsive, not excellent, but decent.
Had fresh squeezed, passion fruit and orange juice, that was delightful!
Had the breaded/fried beef and got a half portion, the half portion was big enough for three or four people to split and likey would not need anything else. For me and my friend it was way too much. Overall the food was decent, but not magical.
