Had the best Christmas Eve dinner here. Wonderful selection of traditional delicacies (croquetes, salmão defumado, raviolis de alcachofra, roast duck in sage sauce, guava sorbet) washed down with a superb Brazilian bubbly. We lucked out and snagged an outside table. Our neighbour was a Dutch tourist on his own for Christmas Eve but this is No 7 so of course we invited him to eat with us. Next a woman from a neighbouring table hears we are from Boston and drops in to say hello since she went to Babson College in Wellesley. We were just looking for somewhere to eat yet we ended up personally invited to the mother of all Christmas parties. This happens only in very special restaurants like No 7, where we would have returned today had they been open and we have already booked for tomorrow as we can't wait...

Seasonality is clearly a thing in winter in balneario camboriu. I finally was able to go with my daughter. Um lugar que faria sucesso em qualquer lugar do mundo, pois além de estar localizado a beira mar com visão para a roda gigante, possui três ambientes finamente decorados, sendo um deles ao livre, comida contemporânea de qualidade e apresentação espetaculares, alem de um atendimento e profissionalíssimo, acrescido de muita simpatia. O ambiente ventilado com nível de CO2 bem inferior ao máximo tolerado que é 1000ppm, mas sem controle do conforto térmico. Aqui não medem a temperatura corporal dos clientes, o cardápio não é digital, os guardanapos não são envelopados, os talheres não são embalados e não oferecem embalagem para guardar as máscaras de proteção. O distanciamento das mesas não é o mínimo recomendável, mas tem álcool em todas as mesas. Os toaletes são lindos, limpíssimos e tem som ambiente. O pagamento é na mesa com máquina que aceita pagamento por aproximação. O pé direto é padrão e as mesas tem a altura correta. Tem muita obra de arte para admirar e adquirir. Aqui tem umas criativa sacola que faz a função de balde mas com muito mais charme e foi uma lástima não ter para a venda no dia da minha visita.
