Uma experiência excepcional no The W!
Read moreThey should call it “The WC Restaurante”. The pros: nice view. It’s located in front of the beach. The cons: Everything else. I ate here twice with my wife; the first time the food was an absolute disaster—her lamb was overcooked and my duck was raw. I offered to switch plates with her and the first thing I tried was the purée, which was ice-cold. I put my fork in another part, and out came a hair. I was done eating at that point. The service that day was very good, and the manager suggested that it was a one-off, and asked if I would come back another time and try them again. I did, to my regret. The second time, the service was absolutely appalling. I sat 35 minutes waiting for a server in between courses. I had to ask for the check 3 times so I could leave. The food, while improved from the first time (no hairs), was disappointing. My lamb, this time, was raw in the center; my wife’s fish was uncooked in the center. The plating is also rather childish. Needless to say, I won’t be eating here...
Read moreNice location and service was good but there were too many issues to ignore. Firstly, they only have an option for digital menus which is not practical for tourists with no internet specially when the restaurant's wi-fi was not working. Secondly, the photograph of the dish in the menu was very different from what I received. The piece of salmon was twice the size in the menu. Thirdly, the menu did not detail the dish. Lastly, the dish I ordered had risotto in it and it was undercooked and lacked taste. The salmon was cooked well. Joao Pessoa has many nicer restaurants so I won't...
