We found this hidden little gem on trip advisor. To be honest it looked closed from the road, but we followed our nose down the driveway where it was very much open. We had an incredible welcome from the owner and were made to feel very much at home. The wine cellar is very well stocked and we had a lovely Argentinian Malbec which was 4.3 on the vivino app. The lamb sausages were excellent, we’d never had them before, so glad we tried them (on the house). The ribeye steak was so good, it just melted in the mouth, the accompanying side dishes also cooked to perfection, the vegetables still had a crunch, and the frites light and tasty. We had the house desert which was a banana similar to banoffee pie topping with ice cream, it was delicious. I really can’t recommend this restaurant enough, just wish we had one like it in London.
