Coco Bambu Shopping Recife — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

The WORSE restaurant experience during my trip to Brazil! Visited with a group of co-workers and didn't receive my order after waiting longer than usual for a grilled lobster order. When we called the Waiter over, he brought another server over to say the lobster was on its way when indeed he forgot to place the order. They lied about it taking long to prepare and then tried to put the order in. We were already at the restaurant for a long time and the group was finished eating so I canceled my order and when the checks came, the Waiter proceeded to give me my check with the lobster I didn't receive on the check. When we told him about the mistake he sent another Waiter to charge the group but didn't fix anything. He just proceeded to cleaning up other tables like nothing was wrong. We talked to the manager and he did nothing about it either. Worse service ever and way overpriced. Avoid this awful place unless you're ok with horrible servers who don't know what they are doing. Save your money and go to Entres Amigos Praia for a great meal...

Look.. The food is great! It is beautiful and tastes very good. But… I go to restaurants for the experience and that was terrible! It starts that they are VERY inflexible. My sister does not like baked potato so we asked for French fries… (cheaper by the way). No!! You have to buy it separate. OK… we bought it… than it comes before the main course… about 30 minutes before… so it was cold when the main course arrived… we asked for rare meat… it came medium well… the drink they measure with a precision that is embarrassing… I don’t know about you but I go to a place like that for the whole experience and from that perspective it was awful. Restaurante lotado, bagunçado e barulhento. Cheguei, 14:30, a recepcionista disse que teria uma pesa para mim pronta. Me levaram a uma mesa que estava suja, porem limpou na hora, com um borrifador (que pegou nos braços)e um pano fedido que esfregou a oleosidade da mesa. Pedi e chamei algumas vezes para garçom trazer cardápio, fui pro digital… parecia ilhado no meio do salão. Para um restaurante vendido como PREMIUM, cobrando como PREMIUM o atendimento é fraco, seco e sem empatia. Temos que falar alto, pouca explicação, poucas palavras a sensação é um ‘te vira e escolhe logo’, pedido feito costas viradas. 25min chega um prato (CAMARAO FERNANDO DE NORONHA R$223), antes perguntei se servia 2 pessoas (eu e esposa) e ele respondia sem nem olhar pra mim ‘3!’. Basicamente Camarão Grelhado com legumes e arroz de brócolis, a quantidade de camarão pra 2 sim, 3 nunca. Nota do Camarão: 2 (pequeno, sem gosto, sem sal e mole) Nota dos Legumes: 7 (GRELHADOS NÃO É QUEIMADO, mas os que acertaram pinto estavam bons) NOTA DO ARROZ: 7 (sabor excelente mas arroz todo quebrado, aparentando arroz velho ou de baixa qualidade) abusamos de sal e pimenta da mesa, mas não tinha azeite. No meio da refeição um garçom puxou uma cadeira infantil de uma mesa que havia desocupado e estranhamente ao invés de levantar arrastou inclinada por duas pernas de uma ponta do salão a outra e na metade do caminho derrubou ao lado de outra mesa, dando aquele barulho e susto em todos ao redor, levantou e continuou arrastando. Não sei se foi o dia, a hora ou a unidade, mas a experiência com a unidade do Shopping Recife foi um insulto a vida daqueles crustáceos e uma rebaixamento na experiência com toda rede Coco Bambu. Sabe aquelas pizzaria de rodízio que existia antigamente que adolescentes vão comemorar aniversário e juntam 7/8 mesas pra caber 40 pessoas? Pronto, isso era o comum la dentro.
