We went there last Friday 20/12/24 ordering chicken for my daughter, shrimps for my wife and salmon for me. My wife and my daughter got poisoned unfortunately, having bad stomachache, obliging them to lay down in bed for 2 days. My daughter had to go to the hospital and further diagnosed of a viral gastroenteritis, which is normally caused by a bacteria in a food. I just had a small pain in my belly, nothing serious actually. I had the praieiro de Frango Grelhado the chicken was dry and the salad was really ordinary; the beans and rice were good funny about that. I also ordered Carioca Spritz this was great. My dinner plate was removed reasonably quickly but I then waited 25 minutes to order another drink. Yes I am eating 'out of hours' as it's only just gone 6pm but I eat when I'm hungry not when the clock tells me to eat. Went here twice . We enjoyed the food (white fish/ shrimps with rice & spaghetti bolognaise) with lovely cocktails . All very reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere too. The gem was Kelly, our waitress. She welcomed us on the second night as ‘friends’ which we really appreciated. She was really attentive, coming to wipe the table as she passed by, she tried to communicate with us and teach us how to ask for the bill (as we can’t speak Portuguese) - a really friendly, efficient waitress with a lovely personality.
