I was looking forward to this place and what a disappointment. I ordered the chicken with Okra. There was no okra on the plate but gravy. I had an argument with the owner and I reluctantly decided to order another dish, beans and chicken. The chicken was deep fried and rock hard. It was hard to swallow and hardly any chicken. I asked for more. The beans was nothing special. The owner is a scam artist who lies through his teeth. What I paid there, I could of paid half at a Brazilian restaurant for the same thing!. Really good whole african continent style food. Have been there some years ago and ordered some dishes to go and the taste of fresh food was still awesome. Planning to lunch there some day ahead maybe next week in the so early beggining of the new year in my birthday. Pass by a lot almost every week and there is always some different people there tasting drinks and dishes and enjoying the culture. Great African restaurant located a few blocks away from Largo do Arouche. The area is not the nicest or safest in São Paulo, but the restaurant is well worth a visit.

Delicious, freshly prepared food and friendly and attentive service (the staff are from Cameroon and speak French as well as Portuguese and some English). Prices aren't the lowest you'll find in the neighborhood, but very good value given the quality. Mains range from R$25 to around R$50. Beers from R$9-10 and water R$5-6.
