Excellent atmosphere, beautiful decoration, but TERRIBLE service, the worst in the region.
Good food, nothing exceptional, small portions, and excessively salty both in taste and price.
This restaurant in the heart of Brooklin Paulista tries to pass itself off as an "Italian ristorante", it lives by the rules and tricks of the São Paulo restaurants from the 90s, even in the year 2023.
Throughout the whole time, the background music system never played anything Italian. The present international soundtrack is out of sync with the ambiance, and even Portuguese fado played.
They push the expensive "couvert" charge, only to remove it later in the middle of the meal, even when there's still an abundance of bread available.
Any person knows that in Italian culture, bread should remain on the table throughout the entire meal, as it symbolizes abundance.
They tried to remove my "couvert" 4 different times, and in one instance, they took away the butter, spreads, and oil, so that we, the customers, couldn't eat the "couvert" that was still available in the baskets. In the end, they even bothered us by offering to bring another "fresh" cover charge...
The reason is to bring a new set of bread baskets is to charge once again. This technique is old, abusive, and outdated.
The same happens with sodas and other drinks. In a completely unhygienic manner, the attendants, because they can't be called waiters, keep taking the customer's drink and pouring it into the glass every two minutes. Disgusting and repulsive practice, specially in the post-pandemic world. Again, the reason is to sell more drinks.
The restaurant staff is unbearable, annoying, and intrusive. They invade the customers' dining space, disrupting conversations in an attempt to push drinks, bread, and services that were not ordered.
Remember you will have to pay 10% for the BAD service.
When it's time to pay the bill, another absurdity: the waiter wanted to prevent us from taking a photo of the bill.
Can't recommend this place.
Regarding the parking, a well-known practice in Brooklyn is repeated here; when you hand your car key to the valet, your car will be parked on any street in the neighborhood, with the possibility of being stolen, vandalized, and fined as the area is a Zona...
Read moreTerrible experience. 5 errors in a row.
1- I ordered half of a white wine bottle, they brought only one glass 2- I asked to fix it, then they brought half of a white wine in decanter 3- I asked the bill, and they charged an entire white wine bottle. 4- I complained that I order only half of a wine bottle and they said no, you ordered 4 wine glasses. Then, I asked to talk to Maitre, and then he came and said that I ordered 2 half of wine bottle, and they charged a entire wine bottle because it was cheaper. Then, Maitre, and 2 Waiters in my table, saying that I ordered 2 half of wine bottle. I felt like a extortion. THE WORST THING THAT A CLIENT CAN EXPERIMENT IS TO BE RIGHT AND TO BE SAID THAT IT IS WRONG. I asked to talk to the Manager, he camed and right way said to charge only half of a wine bottle. 5- Maitre brought the bill an said: "are you saying my waiters are wrong? They have several trainings". Wow a bad experience, I was with my wife and my baby 7 months yeard old. Really terrible. The experience to order something, then it came wrong. In fact, another problem was that my main dish had just arrived and I did not have wine to drink with it. Then, at the end, the waiters and the Maitre were awful, 3 guys saying that you are wrong at the same time when you are right was the WORST experience that I had in a restaurant so far.
The food can be good, but it means nothing after an experience like this one.
I will never come back and will never recommend this...

Escolha do Vinho
Pratos Principais
