I was charged twice for breakfast when I haven't even bought any breakfast as I don't use to buy breakfast in hotels because i don't eat the regular diet ordinary have, as I have a specific type of diet; so I had to eat at the hotel and the worst was because they couldn't give me back my money for the extra breakfast or at least let me spend the credit with other stuff in the deli place of the hotel, so I have in my wallet a little card that I could use anytime in any Ibis in Brazil to use it someday and thats just not what I want it. Besides that, close to time of check out, I was taking a shower to get ready to make check out and packing my stuff, while I was taking the shower the energy cut off and I was forced to keep showering in the darkness and find a piece of clothe with no light in the room, I went down stairs to complain because that was making me late for the check out hour limit, and as both receptionists were busy, i talked first to a guard or something like it, and he told me that was nothing to do about cut of energy and my check out time, so I told him how did he expect me to finish to pack and get ready in the darkness, so he send me to the reception and explained and asked for 15 mins more, they sent a person to fix the light in the central energy and I got to finish packing and left the hotel without...
Read moreAlthough very well located , close to Morumbi Shopping Mall, the parking lot is a mess, either arriving or when exiting or leaving. There's no place to park, and there are not enough valet parking personnel to attend. Waiting more than 1 hour to park the car, and more than 30 min to receive the car when leaving, and at a very high price.|The Hotel is fine, apartment was very COLD, no heating on air conditioner, and when asked at front desk, they provided a ripped blanked ( packed and Clean) but we have to ask for 2 instead.|Bathroom in fair and old condition, towels and soap were not bad, but looked like a very cheap motel style stuff. The shower is good and hot, however my wife had issues to shower without wetting her hair, as the shower was on the ceiling.|Mattress was old and deformed demanding a new one. My spine did not liked it.|Breakfast is good, Juices we're fair, fruits were fresh, but the bread could be fresher, some of them were very hard to eat.|Coffe were good at coffee machines.|Sound at Cafeteria could be better selected for a morning breakfast, with a lounge light selection and not a heavy...
Read moreI wish I could give it two and a half stars. Booked a room for two adults and a child for two nights starting today. The room has only two towels. Not three. No pillow for the single bed. Only a bottom sheet for the single bed. No top sheet. There is a very scratchy blanket. I've had to go to the front desk to get things that should have already been provided. If the room is booked for three, it should be ready to have three people staying in it.
Also, check-in took much longer than I've ever had it take at a Ibis hotel. The hotel is sufficient to what we need, but definitely not worth the price they're charging. I will not stay here again.
Edited to add that the location is fantastic. It's across the street from a huge mall with tons of food options. Lots of transportation options. Not too far from Congonhas airport. Close to the US consulate for those who need it. I booked it specifically because of the location. But still disappointed in how unprepared the room was. I've stayed in much cheaper hotels with far...
