We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to another place, and when we saw that it specialized in Bahian cuisine, we decided to give it a try. The exterior of the restaurant is very inviting and immediately grabs your attention.

Our orders: Baião de Dois, Acarajé, and Bolinho de Bacalhau. My absolute favorite was Baião de Dois—I completely fell in love with this dish! Since it was too much food for just the two of us, I took the leftovers as takeaway. Everything was incredibly delicious. The ambiance was amazing—rich in culture and tradition. Experiencing such authentic flavors in a culturally immersive setting was truly exciting for me. Every little detail in this place left a strong impression on me. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely...

If you're looking for a taste of authentic Brazilian cuisine, look no further than Consulado da Bahia. The moqueca is simply fantastic and it's cooked to perfection, boiling in a clay pot right at your table. The service is top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff who truly make you feel at home. This restaurant is a great example of regional Brazilian cuisine, and it stands out among the many options available in Sao Paulo. The trendy Pinheiros area is the perfect location for a post-meal stroll, giving you a chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city while you digest the amazing food. Overall, Consulado is a must-visit for anyone looking for a true Brazilian...

We came for moqueca, but ordered bobó de camarao instead. And it was awesome!

Service is great, waiter explained the menu to our local colleague, patiently waited while we figured out what to eat. Recommended drinks and food.

Started with acarajé which was so delicious. Must try, so good we devoured it before getting a picture.

Bobó was something new for me. But i think as good if not better than moqueca.

Best was their malagueta pepper sauce that was on the table. Warning for those not used to spicy, this one has some kick. Reminds me of a good spicy sambal. Goes great with everything.

One of the best meals we had on a 11 day business trip all...

It is one of the best places to taste a little bit of northeast food in São Paulo. I've visited this restaurant 2 years ago, and I came back to have more, and they are extremely consistent. What I've tasted two years ago is the same flavour today. Amazing! I had the acarajé, a blacked-eye pea dough deep-fried in dende oil, where you add vatapa, a paste made of prawns and cashew nut, sauteed prawns and vinaigrette. And of course, chilli 🌶 And always followed with a caipirinha! I highly recommend that if you are in São Paulo, esse to get there. Next to Fradique Coutinho station
