Worst experience we’ve had in a restaurant in Brazil so far. We arrived, after 10 minutes and a lot of effort on our end the waiter reluctantly took our order. Then…nothing. No sign of our food or even drinks after 45mins and only shrugs when enquiring. A large table full of Brazilians arrived after us - they had their drinks after 5 minutes. So we left that dreadful place. Do yourself a favour and spare yourself this xenophobic experience....

I ate a bife parmigiana, a salad, and another day also a moqueca mixta, the typical food from this region. It was really really tasty, also the caipirinha (try the one with cocoa and the one with the picolé). Service was really nice, and great atmosphere at the quadrado. Visited twice, and both times had a great experience. Excellent quality of food with various options. Not pretentious or trying hard to be something it is not (something a lot of the restaurant's on the quadrado do). Hygiene is taken seriously, and there are many creative dishes, from salads, to rice, to meats, and vegetables. Efficient and friendly service and Excellent value for money.
