Restorant "July" — Restaurant in Sofia City

Atmosphere is average for bulgarian restaurant, however staff make you feel unwelcome, they sat us on a table for 2 next to the exit, so wind and cold were our buddies during lunch, even though we asked to be sat elsewhere and there were tables for 4 people available. Kitchen is the least to say slow - even with all customers leaving, it still took 1 hour to have risotto, which I explicitly ordered without cream and it had a whole lo of it. Nobody came to take our leftovers, even after we were long finished. Also, decided to stay longer as we had meeting and didn't have else to stay-the servers looked pretty nasty at this idea and kept ignoring us for further orders or...

Avoid. The staff is incredibly rude. When will bulgarians understand that when you provide a service to clients you cannot act as if they owe you something? The food is totally mid - usually pre-made stuff, nothing fresh. On top of that, we've booked the place in advance and they did not tell us that there is a prom taking place during the same hours. This restaurant was a 10 minute walk from our accommodation and we were very happy with our experience. The food was really tasty, we enjoyed vegetarian pizza and seafood pasta which we paired with a lovely NZ Sav blanc. We waited a bit too long for our meals but it was worth the wait.
