This is my new sky bar experience when I came to Phnom Penh! ❣️
La Vida Sky bar is becoming the highest new landmark in Cambodia. You can overlook the entire city from here. The rivers surrounding Phnom Penh converge here. All the high-rise buildings are clearly visible to you.
Although the sky bar is mainly recommended for the night view of the city, I personally also highly recommend coming to the sky bar at dusk, around 5:30-6:00 in the afternoon. If you are lucky, you can see the magic hour at this time!
I spent a very wonderful New Year's Eve here, listened to great music performances, enjoyed delicious drinks, ate great food, and watched the countdown with my friends on the last day of 2023.
The fireworks in the night sky bloom in front of your eyes, and all the lights light up the entire Phnom Penh night sky. I can't think of a better night view experience than here.
This is Cambodia that I have never experienced before, and I highly recommend you to come here too. What a wonderful...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, no one greeted us or guided us to a table. We had to find a spot ourselves, which was frustrating. When it was time to order, there were no waitstaff around, leaving us waiting far too long to even place our order.
To make matters worse, it started raining, and a waiter suggested we move downstairs. I agreed, but as we were moving, he spilled my cocktail, which I had barely taken a sip of. When we got downstairs, I assumed a table would be ready for us, but no one came to assist us or even acknowledge us.
What truly added insult to injury was the lack of accountability. The waiter didn’t take responsibility for spilling my drink, and they still charged us an extra $2 above the service charge. Overall, the service was disorganized, inattentive, and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant...
Read moreMy wife knew I been wanting to come to the newest and largest Skybar in Phnom Penh. So for my birthday we finally got the chance and it was a great experience. The food came very fast which I was surprised and was good western food with acceptable prices compared to other skybars. The stake quality was excellent and cooked very well to the percentage I wanted. Where the price gets a bit stupid is beer prices, which I do expect a Skybar to be expensive but $4 for $0.60 beer is a bit much. The band was great but the ambient music that was playing when the band wasn’t was way too loud but then again I did live in China for 11 years so it was on par with that. That was the only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because otherwise it was beautiful and high quality tables and chairs. Definitely will come back again and...
