Honestly the experience was quite alright only. In fact, a little disappointing.
Rooms: There is a deposit of 200usd required. Either cash or card. Had to change rooms twice within 4nights. First so called river view room was blocked by a golden building with maybe 10 degs of river. Aircon was not working. Set to 16degs for hours and still remained at 24. Extremely noisy fan. 2nd room they changed to in the morning was on the same floor. Asked for non smoking room, but the new room smelled like an ashtray full of burnt out cigarettes. 3rd room they gave us on the same 10th floor again, there wasn't smoke smell this time, BUT once you switch on the air-conditioning, there definitely was this faint smell of cigarettes again. The beds were hard as well.
Hotel facilities: No gym/swimming pool at Nagaworld 2, you must walk underground 300m to Nagaworld 1 to use the pool/gym. The casino is scattered everywhere through Nagaworld 1/2. Infact, at Naga2, you will walk through two areas of casino before you reach the lobby. The hotel is almost permanently filled with a smoke smell. Everywhere you go. No place felt like the air was clean. Youre basically a walking human air purifier if you dont smoke. This was the biggest turn off. The do not have any non smoking casino area as well. The breakfast food at Pangea at level 2 was good. They had alot of variety. However, the items are repeated on a daily basis so it is the same menu every morning.
Casino: Permanent smoke smell fills the casino. Every table will definitely have a smoker smoking. It gets so bad its hard to enjoy playing. There are many table games, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, sicbo, stud poker from what ive seen. Minimum bets are from 10usd for blackjack. The blackjack tables are no hole. The dealer draws their 2nd card after every one is done. Somehow, it feels like they either have extremely good luck or its rigged. Ive had sessions where I lost so many times 18 to 19, 19 to 20, 20 to dealer 5 drawing to 21. Makes you wonder.. The slots payouts varies drastically. Ive had sessions where free spins from 0.60c bets paid out a total win of 0.80c, to the all aboard that paid out 237 dollars on a 0.50c spin. The casino does not carry 1usd and 5usd notes. They only carry 10,20,50,100s. If you cash out anything below 10usd, you will have Khmer Riel in equivalent given to...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service provided by your hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 5 guests, with 2 guests in one room and 3 in the other. Prior to our check-in, I specifically asked the receptionist if breakfast was included for 2 guests in each room, to which she confirmed. However, when we were enjoying our breakfast, we were informed that only 1 person per room was entitled to free breakfast and that we would need to pay extra for the remaining 3 guests.
This inconsistency is unacceptable, especially considering that another friend who booked a room at the same price as ours was given free breakfast for 2 guests. Additionally, I have always booked the same room type in the past and have always been provided with 2 breakfasts per room. When I approached the manager to address this issue, he not only refused to acknowledge the mistake but also became aggressive in his response.
I am more than willing to pay the extra fee for the additional breakfasts, but the lack of communication and professionalism displayed by your staff, particularly the manager, has left a sour taste in my mouth. I had hoped to enjoy my holiday and spend quality time with my family, but this incident has completely ruined the experience for us. It is truly shameful how this situation was handled, and I will certainly not be booking with your hotel again...
Read moreI had a great experience staying at NagaWorld 2 for a week.
The room is comfortable and the blackout curtains work well, ensuring that your room is in complete darkness in the evening and 95% dark during the day. Housekeeping is done promptly every day - completed during my morning workout unlike some hotels which might only complete it in the afternoon.
There are several dining options, sufficient to keep you from going out if you are staying for a week and the prices are reasonable for a traveler. The Spa operates around the clock which is great for guests who intend to stay up at the gaming tables.
The hospitality is impeccable as well, and I feel very welcomed by all the service staff during my stay. Unlike in Vietnam (where many local service staff favor Caucasians and treat Asians with a little disdain), the service staff here are warm and friendly to guests of all races, which I appreciate.
My only complaint is that the swimming pool and gym is located at NagaWorld1, which is a 10-min walk and there is absolutely no cell reception in the underground mall which links the 2 hotel towers. I would use the swimming pool frequently if there was one...
