Abbotsford Art Gallery — Attraction in Abbotsford

We had a very important painting that was left for my oldest brother as a memory for him to cherish from our mom. This painting had so much sentimental value to it as my mom had looked at it and loved it for over 30 plus years. For her to know that it will now be with my brother and that he will enjoy seeing it every day, I know it makes my mom so very happy. None of that would have been able to have happened if it were not for the help and skill of Hong. We had called around to many places and some would not even consider packaging it for us. Others said they would but since they had no experience in packaging paintings if it arrived damaged there was not much they could do about it. Hong however, has a lot of experience in shipping fine art. She was so kind and helpful and understood how important this was to all of us especially my mom. She assured us to not worry that she does not just put paintings or any of her fine art in just a simple box. She has been trained in how to pack fine art and does not buy a box but instead she builds a shipping container from a full size sheet of cardboard. We are so grateful to Hong for her help and skill. She had the painting packaged for us the very next morning. The fact that she was so willing to help us and how polite and friendly and helpful she was with us tells us that Hong is an amazing person. Thank you so much Hong for helping my brother be able to receive such a special gift my mom wanted him to have. We highly recommend Hong for anyone that needs to ship something of great importance as clearly she has the skill and knowledge to build custom shipping containers. We need to also point out that we had never been to the Abbotsford Art Gallery and to be honest did not even know that we had driven past it many times over the years. We spent some time looking at all of the amazing art in the gallery. There are so many spectacular pieces to see. Hong herself has some of her personal work on display and it is beautiful. Hong was as proud of her own paintings as she was of the other artists' paintings and carvings within her Gallery. Hong was very proud to be able to have on display the artwork of many local artists and she spoke so highly of their work. Hong is a very humble person who shares the spot light with others. This was so nice to see. We highly recommend to everyone especially those in Abbotsford to stop by when thinking of a special painting or sculptor to add to ones home.
