Donair Shack — Restaurant in Abbotsford

Let me just start with this would of been 0 stars and Donair Shack corporate should really take a look at this store and there practices

Me and my wife just picked up an order from these guys and for the second time now they have put hot sauce in my 4 year old daughters food my wife went back into the shop and tried to get the mistake corrected and they argued with her telling her that they didn’t get any instructions for it when they did and then refused telling my wife that it’s not spicy and that they wouldn’t make her a new one to fix the mistake it’s hot sauce my 4 year old isn’t eating this so thanks

Just tried my donair they forgot to put any tzatziki sauce but put lots of hot sauce so it ended up being really dry and extremely spicy they did they same to my daughters food like honestly idk how people stay in business with...

By far one of my favourite Donair spots for sure! Been coming to this spot little over 2 years now.

I usually order the Hawaiian Donair and the Rice platters! Their chicken is great, very tender, never dry and seasoned well! The lamb is a hit or miss, at times it can be fresh other times a bit dry.

The vegetables are usually fresh, and the sauces are soo good! What makes this particular donair my favourite is the sweet sauce, it’s very tangy, adds a unique rich flavor with the meats and vegetables.

Portion sizes are amazing, but sometimes it is inconsistent. They usually pack a lot of meat and veggies in but some days on the busier hours they are kind of careless and put less in almost like a regular size when I paid for super for donairs. For rice platter usually it is good.

This restaurant was a diamond in the rough, so many restaurants in the area forget one major part, and that is Customer service. Not this place they treat everyone like family.

The food although messy (as expected from a donair) is very flavourful and filling. And even a an affordable price.

The Poutine is better than Any place in Abbotsford (Coming from someone from Quebec). The texture of the prices are still crisp but not too much where it takes away from the experience. Real Canadian Cheese Curds and a Real beef gravy that will fill your mouth with juices of desire.

Customer service is amazing, even the people that barely speak English are patient and attentive.
