Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in Abbotsford

I placed an order through a third party app to come pick up. The man working there said that they didn’t have enough to give me the food I ordered. He gave me half my order then was extremely dismissive and told me to take it up with the app. I tried to ask him to fill my order and he ignored me and went into the next person in line. I stood there for a few minutes and he continued to ignore me then again said to take it up with the app to get a partial refund. The refund I got did not include the taxes I paid on it either in the end. That was my second time coming there and it was dehumanizing. I was very excited for the food and the dismissive customer service left a sour taste in my mouth.

Edit: I followed up with fresh slice support and have received a few missed calls from fresh slice. I picked up the call since I wasn’t at work. It was a man from this fresh slice location calling to fight with me over the review. I explained to him that I understand I ordered through a third party but I left a review because the customer service was bad and the man was very dismissive. He proceeded to argue with me for writing a review. I felt extremely uncomfortable and felt that the whole thing was so unnecessary after I just explained how poor the service and experience was on my visit. Not only have they been the best Freshslice I have been to in BC (and I have gone to branches in the interior and on the island as well as in Vancouver). I feel like they produce some of the best pizza you can get fast and for delivery in the entirety of places. It has absolutely fantastic flavors only complimented even better by their fantastic staff, and their choice in new hires has never failed to impress me.

I have been going to this location for almost 7 years now. They have never steered me wrong and I am one of their most frequent customers. I have never been to a place that has such a wide array of flavors, or giving me such a good trade of cheap food food and not be too worried about health.

It is absolutely no hassle at all to phone them in and get an order. For me it has gotten so good that they actually recognize my number and call me by name, and the process has never been easier. Pizza is 80% of the time delivered either on time or within 10 minutes after they're my estimated delivery. At times that they are late at is when they're delivery drivers are juggling three to four deliveries at the same time, which as a former pizza driver I cannot blame them.

If you at all want to try and get the same amount of enjoyment out of this branch of fresh slice like I have, all you have to do is walk in and you'll find yourself ordering...

Sadly I feel that I have to update this 5-star review because some things have changed since I was here in April 2020. The same friendly staff are still there and the location is clean. The prices of the single slices have increased. The chicken pizza was greasy at our March 2021 visit. This was never a problem for the Whatcom Freshslice location. I understand that the pandemic is probably responsible for some of this and really do wish the owners well. They work long, hard hours and even bailed us out when we had no sauce for our Christmas 2019 pizza dinner!
