Five stars for consistently good sushi. This is our go to place for Sushi take out. I really like that they don't use styrofoam, instead your food is packed in compostable eco friendly containers. Add that to the fresh fish expertly handled and you have a great take out experience. Our one time eating in was not so great, they definitely are take out focused. The atmosphere suffered from a couple of large tables right in the middle of the dining room dedicated to take out boxes and bags. In addition to that you almost get the feeling that you are inconveniencing the server by eating in. I will definitely continue to support this place for take out. Sushi Nari is getting my business tonight, keep up the great work Chefs!!

Very good experience for my first time being here, looking forward to coming back! One thing that stood out was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The open space was definitely refreshing, oh and so was the green tea! Upon entering we were greeted by the very kind waitress and our food came within ten minutes. Very good food for the value, the chicken teriyaki rolls were amazing and it was cooked nicely! Crispy chicken. My partner got the Set B for lunch and liked all the pairings, the gyozas and the sweet potato tempura stood out. Would recommend to anyone!

This is the first (and only) Japanese restaurant I have visited in Abbotsford, and I have to say I am pretty happy about my experiences here. The owners are Korean, not Japanese, which gave me pause. And having had some excellent sushi in Vancouver, New York, and Taipei, I didn’t expect much from a place in a mall in Abbotsford. But the dishes were prepared with skill and although the additional charge for brown rice is unreasonable, I’m prepared to frequent this place when I don’t feel like cooking. Ok, when my husband doesn’t feel like cooking.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We eat a lot of sushi and have ordered from here in the past but we will never be going back. We put in an online order, waited about 30 minutes for it to be ready, which was fine, its a busy night for them. When I got there I went in to pay and the lady said I was too early to pick up and to come back in 15 minutes, so I waited outside which wasn't a big deal. She then proceeded to give my order to someone else. I watched this person take it to her car, look through every single container of food, realize it wasn't her food and then brought it back. The server then tried to give me the same food that the other lady just had her hands all over. I refused to take it and asked that they make it again. Clearly if they knew anything about food safe they would know its not okay to serve that food anymore. ESPECIALLY DURING A FREAKEN PANDEMIC. So they FINALLY agree to remake it after arguing about not wanting to, then they tell me I'm going to have to wait for over an hour to get new food after I've just waited for 50 minutes. While waiting for my new order to be made I phoned and asked to speak to the manager because he wouldn't talk to me while I was in there, he wouldn't come to the phone! He made one of the young girls working there talk to me, she said he's too busy to be dealing with stuff and that they are really busy so im just going to have to wait for my food. An hour later I go back to get my food and its STILL not ready. They didn't offer to rectify or even apologize for any of this. Get home and most of my food is ICE cold. Obviously they decided not to remake it and just let it sit out for over an hour...

Didn't have the best experiences here. I love sushi and go out for it a lot, and the first few times this place was okay, but then we went and a few things happen on our later visits: 1) fruit flies in the soy sauce containers, ew. And no 'sorry' when we asked for another container/dish, they actually didn't bring one after 20min so I just got one from another table... 2) hair in my sushi, also gross. Again, no sorry or discount also, (THIS WAS WHEN THE MANAGER/ OWNER WAS SERVING US 😨) Believe it or not I went in again after these two big issues (cause of my love for sushi- and how close it was to my place, and our friends wanted to go there...) and then we came in, there was a teenage girl server who was working her butt off, and the "managers" were sitting eating food at the back table beside the register :/ I get that everyone needs to eat but this girl could obviously use help and it was just really silly that she was working SO crazy hard (cleaning, bringing drinks, etc.) and this all was during the dinner rush... Don't go on your break during the rush? And then the managers were sitting eating, we felt so bad for the girl who tried super hard to clean and serve the customers. We won't go back there now, it's not nice being served by someone who's overworking like that. We also noticed there is always a "hiring" sign on the door... Wonder why...

It is too bad, because we were hoping for a sushi place close to home! We go to the small and wonderful Nikko Sushi on S. Fraser, I am 100% sure you will have a better experience there then...

This place has gone downhill drastically over the last few months. We order there once a week but will be looking for a new place. Over the last few months, whenever we place an order for pickup, they never tell us the true time for the wait. Even when we get there at the time we're told, they tell us "another 5 minutes" ... which they stretches to another 20-35 minute wait on top of that! Why not just tell us the true time from the beginning?! This results in a massive hoard of people standing in this tiny restaurant and lined out the door, all waiting for their orders. This hasn't been just once... they consistently do this, and the staff are unapologetic. Over the last few months, they have also skimped on their seaweed (nori) in wrapping their rolls, so their rolls are not sealed up and fall apart, avocado has been rotten and rice is hard and al dente. Recent experiences have been frustrating and disappointing, and the fact that they intentionally don't tell you the true wait time as they don't want to lose business, is exactly why we're...
