Panago Pizza — Restaurant in Abbotsford

Called in and ordered pizza, came at the designated pickup time, paid for our order, tipped well and waited a couple minutes. Then we were told they never put the order in and never actually made the pizza lol. The manager then took our order again over the counter, the order was very specific for our family as there are lots of allergies. We were then told to wait 10 minutes for our order. We come back inside and we had to wait maybe another 5-10 minutes and then we got our pizza. We quickly checked the pizza to make sure the substitutions were made only to find out they were not. When we explained what substitutions we asked for the manager said we did not actually request those substitutions, even though they would've had our original order in their system in the first place. As a compensation they gave us a coupon for a free cookie, which we did not feel was sufficient for the wait time plus inaccurate order. I ordered a pizza the other night and while waiting for it to finish being cooked (hadn’t even been made despite me being a few minutes late to pick it up), I listened and watched multiple staff members making comments regarding my order. The girl who was making the pizza, made multiple comments about who would actually eat that and about how weird it was and was overall just very judgmental. Another individual walked past the individual boxing and cutting it up, and laughed and made a comment about how someone would actually eat that. It made me uncomfortable and and feel like an inconvenience while sitting there waiting for my order. I now wonder what they say when the customer isn’t present. I don’t eat dairy so I order my pizza without cheese but I will be avoiding this location. The food tastes good but the staff mêmbers left service...

Pizza is deadly as all heck, came a little smooshed into itself, but not a huge deal.

The reason I’m giving 5 stars though, is their delivery driver Alex made my entire night. I was having a bit of a bad night, and was in need of cheering up.

I came to the door expecting my usual quiet drivers etc, but was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and engaging Alex was. We sat and talked for a few minutes, unbeknownst to him that it was something I really needed. I look forward to having him as my driver again, and to my next order from my favorite pizza joint.
