I used to use this location quite frequently as I’m new to the area and it’s close to home. a little over a week ago I stopped in for a sub, never had a problem up until now. I had just got off a 16 hour shift and was in desperate need of food. Stopped in and got a sub and salad. Once I got home and took the first bite out of my sub. A LONG BLACK HAIR CAME ALONG WITH IT. Holding in my puke the first thing I did was call the store. The lady I talked with on the phone was clearly the one who made my sandwich and never passed my info along. I EVEN ASKED IF I COULD BRING IT BACK RIGHT THERE AND THEN FOR A FRESH SUB WITHOUT HAIR IN IT. The lady on the phone told me there was no need but there was nothing she could do and that I’d have to wait to hear back from a manager. She then hung up the phone without taking any of my info down. So I called back to make sure she had everything she needed to pass along to the manager. A couple days went by and I still hadn’t heard anything. So I called AGAIN. This time it was a different lady and informed me she had record of my situation. When I asked to speak to a manager. The same lady said I would need to bring in the sub & receipt. I informed them I was never given my receipt and that the lady from the day of told me there was “no need to bring the sub in, a manager will reach out to you”. Not to mention it had already been a couple-few days of waiting to hear from the manager. Why on earth would I keep a sand which laying around that long? I’m still hoping a manger will reach out to fix this issue. But since it’s been almost 2 WEEKS AND STILL HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING.. these people clearly don’t know how to run a business. This is is not why I am posting a review.
I have issue with establishments like this that charge you the notorius bag fee of .10 cents.
I've gone to other Subways and they don't charge this fee. Are some of these businesses obsessed with taking another ten cents from each of their patrons? What next, I refuse to pay for the bag fee and you'll just get the sandwich hand delivered & no coverings or bag??
More consumers need to voice their concerns about this small insignifant charge but over the long term, it equates to big dollars.
Shame on those franchises that do this.
Just my opinion for now as a consumer advocate. If I had of looked at my bill, I certainly would have voiced my concern when it should be the cost of doing business SUBWAY!
