Subway — Restaurant in Abbotsford

I always go to this Subway and never a complaint, the girls there were lovely and recognized us as regulars. I leave a tip here too. However this time the service was very much lacking.

They may have had a new hire but the workers had no idea what sandwich was mine… kept getting it mixed up and asking other customers what they want on my sandwich. That’s fine but what was very upsetting is how stingy employees were in putting veggies and sauce (probably because they were new). But it was baffling the portion sizes they gave.

When I order a veggie footlong for my dad and asked for all veggies, under no circumstances should you put only 4 ONIONS strands. Might as well consider that as no onion. I had to ask 4x times to get a decent amount of any veggies for a veggie sandwich. That made no sense. + they only ran the sauce once across the sandwich instead of twice like every other subway does. I asked for more on another sub but after that I just gave up and got tired of repeating myself…

Other customers complained inline about portion sizes for their sandwich as well. We all looked at eachother and thought “why don’t they understand that if everyone is complaining, maybe you are doing something wrong”

Places are not cleaned up properly. I barely saw the place cleaned!

Staff doesn't knows the way to behave with customers. They always be much more rude. Their expressions says it all the way they ignore customers and make faces! Busy talking even after having customers! The 2 ladies in today's shift i.e. 31st December '18, they made such bad faces. No greetings at all!

The subway, when prepared by these ladies, it was not even cut down properly. Way of packing was the worst I ever experienced in any of the subway.

Worst staff ever experienced! They don't even care about the reputation of subway.

Most staff are kind however one lady starting swearing at me and my boyfriend in a different language without realize my boyfriend could understand what they were saying, all because we said we would wait for them to make more meatballs for his meatball sub. They will tell you it will take 15-20 minutes to make more when it takes less than 5 minutes.

We came back again on June 13th 2025 around 6:45 and the girl helping us was quite rude and messed up my sandwich, I asked for extra toasted and she took it out of the toaster before the fiery timer even went off, when I asked for it to be toasted a second time they ignored that and continued to add veggies. My sandwich was cold, the bread was soggy and the bacon was very undercooked. The girl was very rude and I hope the staff see this comment so they can take care of it and follow...
