Subject Order # 10001106100752 My experience at People's started great at your Abbotsford location on Dec. 12/24 when Gauri sold me an engagement ring which I planned on giving to my Girl friend. She also told about the FOREVER CHERISHED LIFETIME PROTECTION PLAN which I thought was a great idea. I asked her that since my Girl friend lived in Port Coquitlam is it OK if I have the ring sized under the warranty plan at your store at Coquitlam Centre store she said yes no problem you can do that. On January 1st my Girlfriend and I went to the Coquitlam store and was told that the ring is usually a 7 and since it was ordered as a 9 that the warranty plan did not apply and that I would need to pay $500 to have the ring sized to an 11.5? I told the Coquitlam girls that is not what they said in Abbotsford? She said that she was not willing to honour the warranty plan and if I wanted I could go to Abbotsford and get my ring sized there! So after much frustration we drove to the Abbotsford store. We went in the Abbotsford store and did not mention our bad experience in Coquitlam, just showed them the ring and our paper work they took the measurements filled out the requisition for the work and said we'd be contacted around the January 22nd when the ring was ready for pick up. Your Abbotsford Manager Chelsea was first rate and was very professional! And when we told her about what the staff at Coquitlam said, she apologized and gave us your card. The bottom line is your Coquitlam staff seem to not want my business and were totally unaware of how the warranty plan worked, and I can say without any hesitation that I will never set foot in your Coquitlam Centre store again. And will not recommend it to family and friends, but I will always speak highly of the Manager and Staff at the Abbotsford store thank you and Happy New...
   Read moreVery frustrated with the customer service at this chain and the lack of follow up when they make mistakes. I have a diamond protection plan for my rings and so upon my 6 month check the employee noticed a prong that was loose, so I had to send my jewellery back to get fixed. They sent these out and said it would take 10 business days. About 3 weeks later I decided to give them a call and they said that they had the jewellery and had apparently called to say it was in store. However, neither my husband or my self had received any calls or any voicemails from peoples. When I went to pick up my rings they had the WRONG wedding band, and must have mixed it up with someone else's. The employees were very confused and did not know what to do, so they said they would talk to a manager and call me the next day. I waited 3 days and NO CALLS. They wouldn't even give me back my engagement ring as they said it was on the same ticket so they had to keep it to resolve the issue. I then called them back and ONLY THEN did they send an email to the jeweller who fixes the jewellery to correct the issue. The employee ensured that he would call me the next day. However, NO CALL the next day. I waited the following day and then called back, however, the employee who had dealt with this issue was not there. So I had to explain the situation to someone different. This employee decided it was okay to give me back my engagement ring, and then said she would send the wedding band back to get it (hopefully) swapped with my wedding band. I then waited another week, and NO CALLS, NOTHING. I then visited in store and the employee said she had just sent back the ring the day before and had not heard anything from the jeweller.    Read moreI had an awful experience here. My fiancĂ© ordered my engagement ring in the correct size and it ended up being two sizes too big so we had to send it back to get sized. The lady at the front who took it to send it off told him it would take 7-10 days to get back as it was on rush. We waited for a call but did not receive one. So on the 11th day I went in to see where it was at and the lady at the front started to get defensive when I explained to her that he was told it would be put on rush. She then told me that my fiancĂ© lied about it being on rush because itâs supposed to take about a month and a half! She carried on and asked why I need my ring in such a hurry. Then laughed at me when I told her Iâm newly engaged so I just want my ring back as I had only had it for a week before this. I left so angry and defeated. I am so unhappy with their customer service, they didnât apologize once and clearly they do not communicate properly with each other or their customers. I am appalled that the customer service would try and blame their mistakes on my fiancĂ©. This was supposed to be a positive experience for us, as we are newly engaged but it turned into a nightmare.
