9.17.22 2/5 disappointing. $18 for two small eggs benedict very little sauce thin piece of ham and some fried potatoes never asked if we wanted more., cannot get hash browns , Nothing else on the plate. Paper straws instead of spoons for your coffee that turned to Mush within one minute. No ketchup bottle for fries just a half filled little plastic container poor. No vinegar. Slow for the food. Appetizer arrived one minute before the meal poor. $14 for 8 small shrimps not prawns and coconut sauce Costco has the same thing but you get 40. $18 for a simple shrimp sandwich and some fried potatoes. $4 for a cup of coffee. Plates dripping with water. Five people got the meals then we had to ask for cutlery and napkins. Asked for spoons and got soup spoons. No salmon Benedict no Florentine Benedict, poor menu selection. JoJo's fish and chips much better place for breakfast and eggs benedict.

4.05.20 4/5. Shrimp sandwich dripping with frozen shrimp water not appetizing. Fries were good. Prawns in a bowl look interesting on the next table quite expensive they said they didn't like the dip. They don't have the fish tacos our favourite. Used to have vegetable pakora which was good as well.

Nice atmosphere. Prices on the higher side. Fish and chips excellent. French fries are 1 inch long or less, expect to eat with a spoon not a fork, forget your fingers, waitress said this is normal, Used to be nice long fries these ones are not good. Vinaigrette salad with cranberries poor. Poutine with brisket needs three times more brisket, picture shows a sauce comes with shaved cheese disappointed....

I've been to White Spot over 100 times in various locations around B.C. My recent visit to the Whatcom location for a family dinner was spectacularly bad. An outlier in normally predictable, decent family dining. I was excited to try the new Korean Fried chicken sandwich and found it to be inedible. I've been to Korea and I love, love, love Korean fried chicken so I figured it was time to try something other than the very decent legendary burger. Big mistake. The chicken was so tough I couldn't bite through it. I had to use a knife to cut it up. And the the gochujang sauce tasted as if if was just the paste right out of the container with no other ingredients. It's very rare that I don't finish a meal but in this case, I ate two bites and left the burger.

Our waitress asked once during out long meal how everything was but she walked so quickly and made no eye contact so none of us got a chance to respond. There were no refills on any of our drinks and no return visits from her before the bill came. I mentioned to her that the burger was terrible (as did one other person in our party who ordered it) as she collected our still full plates and she responded with "I'm sorry to hear that" and handed us the bill.

Hopefully this hasn't become the norm at this location but let it at least be a cautionary tale for other Korean fried...

Absolutely horrible experience every single time we've come here. We've given this location 3 different visits and each time it was something new that made the experience terrible and I won't be giving them another chance. Rude staff that stand around and refuse to help when asked, just motion they hear you but continue to talk to their co-workers about how drunk they got the night before. Food comes out 45 minutes after it's ordered cold and looking like it sat out for the entire 45 minutes under a heat lamp. Had to listen to a waitress berate a young skip driver who said they didn't have a bag yet because they were new and the waitress proceeded to talk down to them like they were trash for 5 minutes straight for coming without a bag when the person said it was their first day and hadn't gotten it yet. If they talk like this in the open, I can only imagine the horrors and things they do in the kitchen to anyone's food who makes any sort of comment. Made our experience and those around us extremely awkward to be around such a rude hostess. There are so many better options than this horrible restaurant, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else and hopefully they can fix their rude, aggressive and disrespectful...
