A&W Canada — Restaurant in Abbotsford

I won't write a full story here, but had a horrible experience at this location. Staff member a South Asian women she is shift supervisor or something, refused to give me her name(which another staff member gave me) she was unbelievably aggressive, super ignorant, rude and unprofessional toward us. She talked over us the entire time and made it look like we were arguing without acknowledging she was the one who was wrong..bad attitude.. This isn't the first time she treated us badly, before we just let it go. Noone deserves to get their eat out with family ruined by miserable person. Unbelievable!! I will not display her name here on public form, not my level, I have been raised well..however, i will speak with manager directly about her should an iniative is taken by someone to contact me. Food is also hit/miss never made to perfection, lucky if you get hot food, and some decent service. We won't be giving our business to this A&W, establishment that cannot train staff on giving deserving experience to paying patrons. Too hard for her to understand i guess customers like us buying/spending money is what keeping your restaurant open resulting in your job. Don't care about the bigger picture!!! No worries, plenty of fast food places out there for us to switch to. Would give 0 star if I can on food quality, staff, and value....

Story time! We been driving from last 8hrs and really hoping to get some great food as we were bursting out of hunger. We stop by A&W on our way, ordered some meals. At first they give us onions rings instead of Sweet potato fries. She took onion rings out of my tray. Now obviously our sandwiches were getting cold while waiting for sweet potato fries. In the meantime, my mates told me there’s no onions either which we specially requested for our sandwiches. I feeling myself ashamed went to cashier(her) for complaining again. Instead of apologizing she talk to the kitchen guy. Guess what??? His reaction was “ Do i need to make all the sandwiches again” (making faces). I said No that’s ok being clueless. He ended up giving some onions in a bag. No apology was given. No initiative was taken to make us feel better for all this mess. This is really not something A&W stands for. I been to another stores, never get disappointed by...

I visited this location around 11:00 PM when it wasn’t busy, as there were no other customers. I ordered a Double Teen Burger (combo) without pickles, a Teen Burger, and a Kids’ Cheeseburger. The cashier repeated the order twice, and the correct details were displayed on the order screen.

However, when I arrived home (7.2 km away), I discovered that I had received a Teen Burger combo with pickles instead of the Double Teen Burger I ordered, along with a Teen Burger and a Kids’ Cheeseburger. Not only did they get my order wrong, but I was also overcharged for a Double Teen Burger while receiving a regular Teen Burger instead.

I attempted to call the restaurant to address the issue, but no one answered. Given that the staff wasn’t busy at the time, there was no reason for these mistakes. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing.
