Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes - Airdrie — Restaurant in Airdrie

This place is horrible and allows under aged kids to sit in their establishment and swear at customers when they aren't too busy making out with each other. I have video and pictures of what happened while I was there.

Sam in Calgary who I called to ask for a refund because the quality of atmosphere he provided was not safe for a 7 year old just likes to yell at people ie: me when I called.

Anyways, it was disgusting that a 7 year old couldn't enjoy his meal because management allows kids in there to make out with each other without asking them to stop! I've called and spoken to several people and have just been given the run around. In the end, I do not get my money as per dam and Anita and Sandeep (Airdrie location) and it really wasn't worth the money,more so it was worth a safe atmosphere and an enjoyable night out which this wasn't.

Sam also asked me if I had a mental issue? Is this a problem for him? Is he making fun of mental illnesses because I take this seriously. Maybe the people of Airdrie should know that Sam likes to make fun of mental illnesses and likes to belittle his paying customers. I will not be back and I hope everyone in Airdrie see that boardwalk is not worth it.

I ordered lunch from this restaurant via skip for the first time since it opened so it's been a very long time since I ate here. If memory serves me right it was good food when it first opened but sadly, unless this was a one-off their standards have slipped. The menu is mouthwatering. I ordered the Fiesta burger with salsa, mozzarella and avocado, and jalapeño and cheddar fries plus a Chipotle dip. As you can see the jalapeño and cheddar fries were a good portion. Unfortunately the fries were slightly undercooked and the cheddar was a flavorless cheese whizz substitute. That said compared to the burger they were the best thing about this meal. The burger was a sad effort. The salsa was non-existent, more like a bloody smear of dark ketchup on the dark bun. The mozzarella was transparent and the avocado was like the salsa, a smear on the bottom of the bun. The pattie was crumbly and lacked flavor. As I said a sad burger and not at all the Fiesta I was expecting by the description. Suffice to say I shall not be ordering from this establishment again nor do I recommend it especially given the number of burger joints in Airdrie who serve far...

I've always wanted to try boardwalk and got my first chance in Airdrie. Everything looked so good in the menu and it was hard to pick but I went eith the Mushroom burger and onion rings. The lady behind the counter was so genuine and nice but she was running the till AND cooking our food. I didn't even catch a sense that she was doing all of this by herself. She managed it quite well. Anyway, she brought out our food and milkshakes. Again, all made by herself. Once I took a bite of my burger I was truly disappointed because there was no flavor in the burger at all. I thought it was just me but my husband got the BBQ and it was so underwhelming. His cheesy ranch putine also had no flavor as well. I've never experienced everything looking really appetizing but lacking so much flavor. Odd experience lol.
