Chicago Deep Dish Pizza — Restaurant in Airdrie

I have been a very very long time customer alongside my family which all treasure this pizza place, as I have prior worked in pizza hut, and pizza cottage as supervisor and can understand that stress of kitchen like that especially during peak hours, the front POS employee is always very informative yet also very humorous and friendly and even honest as I have been ordering since 2013 and there was a 4 can pop added free if mentioned for delivery but he told me that it's no longer offered due to covid and the inflation at the this time even recommended buying a 2l pop for $4 rather than 4 355ml cans for $1.75 each and I see reviews mentioning "too much dough" or "too oily" it's literally the style of pizza and it's done so well and even complaints on price are unjust as a medium can feed 3 people for 2-3 days we a family of 6 tend to order a large and a medium and even with everyone having 2-3 slices there's a full medium box of leftovers and unlike other pizza places that may say "your order will arrive in 30 minutes" but end up 30 minutes late to that they're honest and say it should be 45-60 minutes and explain if it's driver related or the cook time as deep dish is thick and takes it's time to cook Overall the staff is honest, hardworking, friendly, informative and not trying to gouge the customer.

And the pizza is always crisp crusted very cheesy (enough to recut it at arrival as it's still hot) the meat is always under the cheese but good at following instructions like "onions on-top to become caramelized"

10/10 of all the pizza places I have eaten at or worked at never let me down and in 10 years never had to call back as there was a issue, apart from their honesty in reaching to about cook time or driver...

Pizza tastes incredible, baked fresh, hot, so cheesy, and all the ingredients are fresh, minus the pineapple, I believe that to be canned like a majority of pizza places. It tastes amazing and this is a must-try pizza joint! If you have not tried it, you are missing out.

The dough is soft with a buttery crusty crunch. 80-85% pizza 15-20% crust. Thick dough although I'm sure you could order thin. Mozza cheese is killer, loads of it even if you don't order extra cheese. The sauce is not spicy but rather light, loads of sauce if you think you need extra, try normal first. Usually a great combo of sauce to toppings.

We normally order a LG as that is the biggest size. We have 5 people in our family. Always leftovers! Bonus in my books.

Our order is usually a large half-and-half with extra cheese and it comes to around $34.50-37 pending our toppings.

One thing to note is that is a pickup price, delivery from North Haven to Country Hills is usually $50+tip. So definitely pick up if you have the chance.

The parking lot can be tricky to get into coming from the north going southbound, sharp turn into the lot, and usually high traffic as it is near 14th and John lourie blvd.

I did a course for work in the same building years ago! The teacher recommended this place and told us how filling it was for next to nothing for a slice and a drink. I had been meaning to come back sooner, but now that I find myself living in Airdrie, I have every opportunity to eat here and am full on taking advantage of it! I’m usually gone to work for a week at a time and my first stop back in town is this place! Staff is beyond friendly! Their pizza, as good if not better than I remember it from years ago! I always have quite the appetite when I get back to town and 2 slices easily defeats me. The crust……it’s like the fluffiest edible pillow you’ve ever imagined (or maybe it’s just me) Cheese….. gooey gooey gooey! Love pulling the slices apart and even 10 inches apart, the cheese is still stuck to the other slice. Toppings……. Yes please! Fresh! Sauce….. not overly done, perfect amount! Price is definitely worth it when any pizza is really 2 in 1. But order 2 cause it’s definitely worth sharing!
