La Diperie — Restaurant in Airdrie

Update: My daughter and I were invited to have another drink made or pick something else. We chose the mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was delicious. The owner was very friendly and apologetic. He let me know it was only a training issue and made it up to us with a store credit. I really do love their treats for the dogs too!! My girls always get the ice cream doggie cookie. It’s a favourite!

Today I went for ice cream and my daughter wanted the Blue moon Boba drink. I pointed to the picture of it in the store. It’s a frozen slushie with multiple colours. After the lady was finished making the drink, I looked at it and I said “that’s not a sushie like the picture”. It was just a blue drink with ice cubes and boba at the bottom. But definitely not a slushie and not multiple colors. The she said “oh that’s false advertising…” and waved her hand over to the picture of the Blue Moon boba drink. I was shocked, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but when I got home with the drink, my daughter had a sip and needed to spit it out. It tasted like sweet chemicals. I tried it too and it was really bad. I’m super disappointed. Why would you have false advertising of a drink in the store? And why would you not say something before you start making the drink. The lady serving me heard me say my daughter...

My husband was running late from work and it became too late to leave the kiddies with my parents for our anniversary dinner… Yet we still wanted to go out and celebrate! So, we packed our three little munchkins up and decided on Mexican food and dessert. It was funny how taco time was right next to the new la Diperie! Win-win. This was our first time experiencing la Diperie and it was amazing! We will be back! Why?

la diperie ice cream was amazing!!!! Best dessert location in airdrie for all sorts of things too. Huge portions, unique flavours and even hard ice cream for the kiddies and little donuts to boot. We didn’t have room for those little donuts, but we will be back for them soon! The ice-cream though that we did have… I had matcha on soft serve and my hubby had one huge cup with lots of goodness and my kiddies, they split a superman hard serve with gummies and other tasty items. What else ?

The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind too. If I could give this place a 6 I would. Nothing else to...

Hear this place opened but it said it was at the Taco Time. It sure is. They don't have their permanent sign yet but it's part of the se building. French vanilla soft serve dipped in dozens of flavours, sprinkles and other tasty add-ons. They also have a raspberry vegan soft serve I have yet to try. They ha e cheesecake slices and many other options. As of June 10th tbey are just over a week or so since open and some of the staff are new so give them a break if they have to remake while they learn. I talked to the manager and told.him who I was and what I do. He was very friendly snd had a big smile now that his business is open and customers are flooding in. But yes. You enter from.the east side of the building and if the permanent signage isn't up, there is a banner with LA Diperie on it. Gp have a treat, it tastes great and the price is a little higher than normal but your getting more than just a chocolate dip for options...
