McDonald's — Restaurant in Airdrie

This is THE DIRTIEST McDonald's I have ever been to!! Like not just napkins laying about and garbage full, but gross, disgusting and grimy! I did not want to touch anything in there!!

We started by not wanting touch to door to go but we were having a meeting with someone else. We told the cashier, her response was "I know".

I went to look for a place to sit with a plug in and that's when it became noticeable.....the place was filthy!! The bench seats were not wiped down....we moved to other seats. The corners of these seats had crumbs and bits of food so we opted back for the bench seats.

A man at a table of 4 said "if you think is bad out here, you should see the kitchen. The stainless steel is full of grim and not cleaned" "that napkin under the bench seats, it's been there for 2 weeks". Kinda made me wonder why they keep coming back!?!?! He points out the fire place and said "look at that, all that grim on there".

By this time we couldn't even eat the food we ordered!

I told a girl cleaning trays "this place is filthy" she said she will be sweeping right away. I told her it was beyond sweeping and pointed out the clear grim that has been on the floor for some time. As I watched her sweep, she did not once sweep UNDER the bench seats....you don't want to look under there.

I went to plug in my laptop and it was more scarry then the floors of Chucky Cheese!! (Photo below with the bench seat leg in the pic). The walls weren't clean, the table felt gross. My friend went and told the Manager, she came out and said something to the poor girl who was cleaning and walked away. 5 minutes later, that girl was cleaning the windows....it was a start.

I did not dare go into the bathroom!!

There is a pic of the garbage as well.....as they were cleaning, the garbage was put outside the door and left there....as door customers use.....and look how close the ACTUAL garbage can was!!!

I will NEVER go here again!! And I will be making a formal complaint and calling...

What do say. I mean I don’t often write reviews for McDonald’s. They are a McDonald’s, you expect okay food, okay service and just get out of there. Well… compare to this one other McDonald’s are like Micheline star services.

I have come out so many times with food missing we are used to overpaying for food as it’s easier accepting it than going back. You also enter the illusion that they will do better next time, hint they never do.

If they manage to get your order, congratulations. However bet you didn’t check your straws.

On one occasion, just because they were not satisfied with the amount of money we spend on food we never received they topped it off by making my fiancé wait on a drive through for 40 minutes for chicken nuggets. When she went into ask what is happening, the chicken nuggets were sitting on the side where no one had bothered to pick them up. The woman grabbed them gave them to my fiancés and said “here” and then walked away.

Now I know it’s a McDonalds, but the catchphrase I hear from family and friends around here is this is the worst McDonald they have ever been to. I have also lived in the U.K., and have eaten at McDonald’s in spain, Mexico, Australia, Belgium and Thailand and I can say out of all of them. This is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. Food is the same as everywhere else, so that is good. Just never had a mcdonalds where they like to play a game of find your food on...

The worst McDonald's I have ever seen. Visiting this place for last couple of weeks on regular basis hoping next time it will be better, but surprisingly they miserably failed and consistently deteriorating. 1)Super slow drive thru, every order takes min 20-30mins no matter what you order. 2) Many times they take orders only from one drive thru while other one is open with long queue, everyone is waiting in their car hoping someone will take their order, happened 2times with me, had to drive to the window to place order 3) another day after waiting for long enough finally they took the order (mcflurry), paid for it and then again wait to get the ice cream but after wasting so much time they realized that the mcflurry is not ready to serve, so they declined the order and refunded the money, not only that the lady (manager) was not even apologetic and behaved as it is very normal with this place. 4) Another morning ordered toasted bagel with cream cheese and coffee, as usual after sometime managed to get coffee but asked to wait for bagel @ parking stall 1. Omg they completely forgot to bring the bagel...after 20 mins I had to go back to drive thru again to get the bagel. Finally I gave up today. Wish there was a negative star in Google review. This place is a joke, very slow service, managed poorly. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place to save your time and energy. Will continue visiting other...
