Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ajax

I believe the staff working on the front counter are over worked, not trained properly and don't even know how to respect there co workers.and also he was so rude and misbehaving with the delivery foks, The guy on the front was constantly insulting the other girl working on the drive thru counter as she was trying to serve the customers in a batter way she seemed little trained and respectful. The food and ice-cream quality have fallen down to its extent.. A year back this location use to be super awesome and but this time my ice-cream tasted so bad i was not the same as dq pickring and markham. I believe the owner ship is changed from a year or so and its quality is dropping day by day specifically this location now feels like a desi restaurant with the staff who have not been trained about what it is to work in hospitality / food and beverages industry here in canada. Owners should take some action to not loose the image of the brand also the corporate office should jump in and make sure this dq outlet staff is trained about the basic SOP's of customers services...

I’m not going to say this is the worst Dairy Queen ever...but it’s the worst one I’ve been to.

I ordered a medium Oreo Blizzard, they accidentally made me a large, they asked if I was okay with that, I said ‘sure’ then they made me pay the difference. Not ideal, but fair enough. While I’m paying the extra, they squeezed and scraped the large Blizzard into a medium cup. Chaos ensues as 3 employees huddle to resolve the issue at hand, their solution is to scrape and squeeze the medium back into previous large cup, top it up with soft serve, and hand it to me. My mind was blown, I had no words but I knew I find solace in my poorly assembled flimsy cool treat.

Being a forgiving man, I went back to this location recently and ordered a sundae...didn’t want to risk another calamity Blizzard. It was the saddest sundae, barely any fudge...so little it didn’t even pool all they way around the soft serve.

Ordered two blizzards at the Ajax location. Paid to add extra toppings (Skor) in both. Not only did we get absolutely no skor but we barely got any toppings at all in the blizzards. Called the store about it and they basically called us a liar saying they did add the skor. I wouldn't waste my time to call and complain if my order was done correctly. All I expected was a simple replacement or at minimum give me some skor bits on the side which I paid for. Absolutely rude attitude on the phone. Said there was nothing we can do and no one to talk to. This isn't the first time we have had issues with this location, it's pretty consistently bad (food + service) but unfortunately it's the closest location. We will not be returning again. Horrible customer service that could have easily been fixed with a replacement. Don't go to...
