Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Ajax

We love Gino's pizza and have ordered from this location a bunch of times. Have never had any issues except till last night, Halloween. I went online and preordered around 1:30. To have my order ready for pick up for 5:15. It was not an outrageous order, just two pizza’s. One being only cheese. Well when i went in to pick up at 5:20, they were a little busy but i figured since i preordered i would only have to wait another 5-10min. Well no, first when i went in they were not even ready with my order. Second he went to hand me one pizza. When i told him i ordered two pizza one being only cheese. They had missed the cheese pizza so had to wait for them to make it. Which took another 10-15min. The guy look at me and told me they were short staffed, And it was halloween. I told him I understand but thats no excuse (i have work busy restaurants for over 15 years. I told him thats not an excuse specially when I preordered at 1:30 that afternoon. I am very disappointed. I will not be ordering from them on a busy day again. As they obviously can’t handle the rush. Was not even offered anything for their mess up. I had three kids waiting in the car starving. Terrible pizza, terrible service, and terrible atmosphere. If I could give this zero stars I would. Ordered a cauli fresca pizza from their “gourmet” menu and received the most dry and burnt pizza. Workers were serving customers who had ordered after us well before we received our burnt pizza as well as gave them free sauce while trying to charge us for a sauce. Topping and crust were burnt, no sauce and was dry. We went back to try and get the pizza changed and the worker said “this is our procedure on how to make the pizza”. He refused to replace the pizza for anything, remake the pizza or even give any sort of compensation or change in type of pizza because “that’s what I ordered and that’s how we make the pizza”. This interaction was very unprofessional and rude as he just kept saying that’s how it’s done and that’s what I asked for. I did not ask for a disgusting, dry, burnt pizza. Ordered pizza and asked for chili flakes on my pizza. They did not put any on it. I called to let them know, and they accused me of lying. Their call center employee was rude and did not want to listen to what I had to say. She said they checked the cameras, and they did put them on it. Realized there was no point in arguing with those who won't accept their mistakes even if they are wrong, so disconnected the line.
