I regret to say that our recent visit to The Wing Spot in Ajax was nothing short of a disappointment. As a devoted father treating his daughters to a night out, I expected a welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, this was far from the reality.From the moment we walked in, it was evident that the hospitality was lacking. We had to find a table ourselves, only to discover that the tables were wobbly, setting an uncomfortable tone for the evening. The ambiance was dominated by ten TVs all tuned to the same news channel, making it more of a sports bar than a family-friendly restaurant.Our initial order for water with lemon seemed like a simple enough request, yet it proved to be a challenge for the staff. After asking twice, we were presented with a plate of raggedy lemons, one of which had a questionable bit in it. Is it too much to ask for a basic order to be fulfilled?The menu was a confusing maze of wing names, making it nearly impossible to decipher the flavors. The Lemon Pepper wings we ordered turned out to be a far cry from anything lemony or peppery. To add insult to injury, another hot flavor we tried rated only a mediocre 7/10.The service was abysmal. Our waitress failed to introduce herself and never bothered to check if we were enjoying our meal or if we needed anything else. It's disheartening when the staff seems more interested in the news on TV than ensuring their customers have a satisfactory experience.In conclusion, our evening at The Wing Spot - Ajax was marred by subpar service, confusing menus, and an overall lack of hospitality. As a father who values quality time with his daughters, I expected more from a supposedly popular chicken wings spot. This experience has left a sour taste in our mouths, and we won't be returning...

Heard great things about the wings so it surprised me when the highlight of our visit was the chili and onion fries and not the wings...
Service started well but became terrible for an almost empty store. We got spicy wings so it was concerning when our water wasn't refilled, we were offered no utensils or gloves, and our wing bucket had no napkins or wet wipes when our wings arrived...neither did our server bring any when she brought the side plates. I had to get up myself and grab some from another table.
The table who came later was checked more than us, then we were sniped and asked how we found the food while heading to the washroom...
The fries didn't arrive with our wings and no update was given such as "your fries will arrive shortly". It was only half way through our wings when we inquired how it was that they went back to check on it...I think they forgot to even send the order.
We ordered 3 lbs of boneless and they were drenched in sauce and kind of dry on the inside...maybe from being frozen or perhaps they were part of a large batch already cooked and kept warm prior, ready to sauce up and chuck in the fryer for a minute rather than cooking to order. Either way it lacked the tenderness you would want on the inside.
Maybe this is only the boneless variety? Perhaps regular wings are done with fresh meat and therefore taste better? Someone else should investigate. For now, I advise if you come here, just order takeout and skip...
Read moreI was trying to place an order for pickup from this location, (after calling multiple times in different time intervals because I assumed they are busy since they wont pick up) and after someone finally answering the phone I ordered 2 orders of 2 different wings. After coming home I realized the order was wrong and 2 boxes of wings were the same order. I called back multiple times again (there was not even one customer inside btw so not sure why they could not answer or call back) and when they finally picked up I explained they gave the wrong order, and the lady at the phone who’s name is apparently Sheila, stated she cant do anything about it unless I drive back and give back my order. as I have somewhere to be and don’t have time to drive back and fourth, I asked if I can get a credit for the order they gave me wrong in which she spoke to the manager and he said no. I asked to speak to the manager (Raj) myself in which Sheila said I cannot as he is busy. I said ill wait and she kept me on the phone for 20 minutes just to tell me he can’t talk to me and she can’t do anything about it but give me 10% off of one order. They did not even properly offer to replace the order. lol. Never...
