Bean Brokers — Restaurant in Alberta

I have the absolute pleasure every time I visiting Bean Brokers, The team of lovely ladies there make me feel so welcome the moment I walked in. Their customer service is second to none always friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations.

While I was there, I came across the Dino 40 oz mug, and let me tell you, I couldn't believe the price it was super cheap! I was able to grab this awesome mug for a steal,

Good baked good and food section. Coffee/drinks I want to give a higher rating too, but on numerous occasions you end up waiting over 5 minutes for a drink (even when not busy). Recently after waiting 10 mins in drive thru (one car ahead of me), I was informed the drip coffee was out (once I got to the window, I was told it would be even longer to wait, and the gal looked surprised when I cancelled order and had to go... disappointed as I watched the staff slowly move around the shop getting one order at a time done, not bother to check coffee levels until suddenly it was empty...). Sad start to a morning, and unfortunately not the first time things like this has happened. So good food, painfully slow service, so so coffee, yet for some reason I keep going back, hoping...

Good coffee shop for Olds. And new management has cleaned up the place a little. Before I saw someone pull a shot with a dirty portafilter, into a crusty unwashed shot glass. Obviously it tasted disgusting. The coffee beans are mediocre here, it would be nice if they used a local roaster. Expect your milk based beverages to be burnt half the time and no micro foam to be found. They also have some good baking here. I'm hard on coffee shops as I roast my own beans and jazz, but when you pay $5 for a coffee it should meet a higher standard. Something bean brokers does really have going for it is it's environment.
