Fatburger River Cree — Restaurant in Alberta

This was the absolute worse experience I’ve ever had in any sort of fast food establishment. I’ll start off by saying the main lobby/area you order your food is split in 2 areas and is divided by a glass wall. So I walked in from the casino side. There was NO ONE waiting for food and 3-4 employees behind the counter. I stood there for 7 minutes SEVEN! and no one said a word to me, not one, they knew I was there as I made eye contact with a few people behind the counter.

After 7 minutes went by 2 other people went up to the counter on the other side of the glass wall. The employees clearly knew this person and was calling him by his name, they helped him as soon as he walked up to the counter, paid for his order and even talked a little bit of personal life with the employees, while I stood there STILL waiting to place an order. I stood there and said “I’m starting to get very annoyed” then at that point someone behind the counter looked at me and said one minute we’ll be right with you. A few more minutes went by and they finally took my order. The food didn’t take terribly long to get, I stood at the counter waiting to place my order longer than it took to get my food. Once I got the food the burger was the worse king burger I’ve ever had. Very blah. No flavour. The chocolate shake was on par though.

Overall this place SUCKS!! and judging by the other reviews it’s a common problem. New management or counter staff should be looked into at this location. It absolutely sucks. I will never spend another penny at...

I only received a reply after posting this. They offered vouchers, which I said was unacceptable. It seems they processed the refund without replying to me.

I wish I could give this place zero stars and still give a review.

I ordered from the website for DELIVERY. The email contained the delivery time, so when 15min passed past that time, I called. The staff said they did not do delivery from that location, only Skip did, and that my food was sitting ready for PICKUP. I asked why I was able to order delivery from the website at all if it isn’t offered, and when they said they didn’t know, I asked for a refund. They said they couldn’t process that.

If you can’t deliver, then why did I get charged for it and the service fees for it?

I had to ask for a ride from a neighbor to go get my food, and by the time I got it home, it was an hour past the delivery time, my food wasn’t hot, and the fries were soggy. I emailed their ithink@fatburgercanada account and followed up without any response after FIVE BUSINESS DAYS.

Recently visited Fatburger River Cree and ate one of the best burgers eeeeeever! I'm a total burger freak and always searching for the yummiest burger and so far, this is the one for me! Massive homemade juicy patties on a small bun which is exactly the way I like it. I ordered the double cheeseburger along with the chilli cheesy fries and when I got the $23 packaged order, I was blown away at how heavy the bag was. As you can see from other reviews, not all of us think the same about the burgers so you will have to try it yourself to see if it's to your liking. I certainly loved it.

I ate there late at night and unfortunately, they were fiddling around with the kitchen equipment so it looked really messy and unkept in the serving area and hence the reason I could not give a 5 stars.
