Tap 25 — Restaurant in Alberta

June 24, 2025 - brought the kids to Tap 25 for a late lunch. They liked it.

June 6, 2022 We came back for lunch. We tried the sweet potatoes fries with our meals and we really enjoyed them. Jasenka, our server was phenomenal. We have had her a few times and we cannot say enough good things about her. She really is amazing.

We went back for lunch. It was busy. No QR Codes needed but masking still in effect. They changed the Menu. The nice thing they added was Prime Rib from 1130am to 11pm. Most of us ordered that and it was very good. You can ask for how well done or rare you prefer. You get veggies, mashed potato, au jus, Yorkshire Pudding and horseradish. I could barely finish it. I highly recommend as its on special daily.

Feb 2022 We went for lunch today. We ordered steak and eggs from thier 1130am to 11pm offer. Another person ordered the fish and Chips. It looked good. She liked the coleslaw that came with it. The club sandwich, another person ordered. He liked it. It was alot of food. Another Lady had the liver and onions from the seniors special. She loved it. She really enjoyed the mashed potatoes. The liver and onions is always liked by all my senior friends. Im told it's done well here. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and substituted soup instead of fries. It was a large bowl of split pea soup. After sharing a bannock appetizer, I couldnt finish my meal. I was so full. Our entire table walked away full. Between 2 and 5pm you can get large pizza and chicken wings for half price. Ive eaten here alot and its a good place to fill...

I will start with saying the prices for breakfast are unbeatable! Coffee, tea and OJ is $0.99, meals are $5.99 and up unless you get in before 7am, then they are $1.99, service on the other hand.....well!

We came in around 8am for a party of 4, 2 of us sat and were able to order coffee while we waited for the other 2, who came 5 minutes later. Unfortunately our server Tracy did not seem to be around to pay attention that the other 2 people came. My husband went to the bathroom and told the hostess that we needed 2 more coffee and water for everyone, she either didn't care to tell anyone or she did and our server didn't care. Finally after 15 minutes of another server walking by our table serving her customers, we flagged her down and asked for coffees and water. I am not sure when/if we would have gotten service if Mitylene didn't decide to bring us the drinks herself. Mitylene took over our table and service was great! We assumed maybe Tracy was off shift soon and was prepping to leave, sometimes service can decline when it's shift change but nope, she was there still 2 hours later.....just poor service quality!

Food was decent. Toast was cold, edges of eggs cold but we were hungry. Aside from it being cold, the food was good and prices were definitely great! We would come again but would be wary of...

Prime rib special was just wonderful. Would have been nice to have Yorkshire pudding warm, but nonetheless it was still very good. The roast was very good. Most prime rib roast have a hint of rosemary, this had none of that (not everyone likes rosemary spice). Mashed potatoes were a bit gummy, but still acceptable.

As for the service, well it was ok, was not horrible and not over the top great either. We got all meals at the same time so that was good!

Definitely go again!

Dec 27, 2024 So we went again, and again with friends. This time on a 2-5pm special. Chicken fingers were awesome! First place I have ever received 5 pieces...AND I might add, cooked perfectly!

Garden salad was a definite improvement from the last visit! The added peppers on top were a delight!

As for the nachos, wow! Portion size was perfect for 2 ppl with a smaller appetite! The sides of salsa and sour cream were great!

Now let's get to the service. This time we were served "with a smile" ! Thank you.

As before, definitely go again until I have tried all their dishes!

My ratings have now been upgraded.

Ps - in spite of Patricia asking for me to send my contact, and sending an email, I have yet to hear from Tap 25. Oh well, my reviews reflect the food and service received at the restaurant and not the service...
