Jerry's Burger Baron — Restaurant in Alberta

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Calgary. Came because of the good reviews, order mozza burger with onion rings , Donair and ordered poutine for our son. Decor is very dated. Waited a while till owner who was working by himself took out order waited a 20-25 minutes for food since owner was working by himself on a steady holiday Monday.

Burger was ok . Amount of onion rings seemed sparse for 3.50 price tag. Donair beef was interesting kind of a cinnamon flavour. But seemed small and missing some ingredients, the poutine for 5.00 was a very small portion.

I think restaurant is ok. Needs to hire staff. Update the place. Definitely doesn’t deserve a rating over 4. Also there is nothing to eat here if you are allergic to wheat gluten, my wife who is celiac had to eat in Drumheller...

The food was awesome! For a cold, snowy day, they were busy, so it took a little longer to get our food, but they were very apologetic and really sweet. We sat at a booth to wait for our food, and had a great chat. We ordered lasagna. Now, they are Lebanese, so the sauce has an extra kick to it, but oh so good. The restaurant itself is relatively small, with a few booths and tables, but it is clean, and decorated with plants that they have kept thriving for decades. The restaurant has a drive-thru that runs right passed the main entrance, so heads up entering, but for a small town, this is a hidden gem. I haven't tried their pizza yet, but one of these days, I have to try their Lebanese...

The Lebanese cuisine here is original, incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious!!! The owner was very friendly and accommodating, the woman working for him however left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak, absolutely atrocious, everyone can hear her complain about everything, spoke in such a condescending way to the owner AND the other customers. I recommend the food 100% it's worth a special trip to have Jerry's cuisine, a strong recommendation as a consumer to replace this fowl individual, a very unfortunate toxic representation of what really is a wonderful family business. Call the exterminator on her and I'd gladly share a clean and pleasant review, one I truly think...
