Pho Dinosaur — Restaurant in Alberta

Went here for lunch and it was awful. We ordered the kids food first, and it still somehow showed up after the adult food. We ordered two orders of pho. They brought us the bean sprout plate with the wrong order of pho, we started eating the bean sprouts because we were hungry and I kid you not, he picked up the plate of bean sprouts and gave it to another table!!! And then never gave us another plate of bean sprouts for our pho. The intentionally didn’t add the egg to my sisters in laws pho and their explanation was ‘some people don’t want it.’ And in a very pathetic attempt, gave a single egg in a small bowl of broth. We also ordered two orders of chicken buns which never came to us until we asked for a second time. They never checked in on us to see how we’re doing, keep in mind it was a small restaurant too. The pho was just a bowl jam packed with noodles so it was nothing special.

When it came to pay, we were splitting the bill and he kept messing it up and if we corrected him he would just roll his eyes. There was was no acknowledgment of the poor service and mix ups or apology for the missing food. I always support small businesses and as a small business owner myself, I can understand how difficult it can be to run a restaurant, but this was just...

We were really excited to be trying this place out and we're really unfortunately let down.

They had placed sprouts at our table, and as we were eating it- he had took it and gave it to another table. (We were hands deep in those sprouts) They proceeded to bring us plates, then take them away until they got our orders right. Forgot ingredients in our meals, and then just chalked it up to "oh some people don't want that added" .. why would I order that specific meal then? I was brought my egg that was supposed to be in my meal but my appetite has been lost after having to ask for the third time where our chicken buns were.

I wanted to assume it was just because they were busy and overwhelmed, but It unfortunately just feels like it was...

Today had some errands to do around the area. It was lunch time so let's try Pho Dinosaur. It was busy but there was a free table. The staff was very friendly. We ordered the Bahn Mi Satay Beef Sub, the Pork Wonton Soup with Vegetables, and The Shrimp Salad Rolls. After we ordered the food came very fast. The shrimp rolls looked great fresh tasting and a satisfying peanut sauce. Big hot bowl of wonton soup with a very tasty broth my partner said its 5 stars. The sub well have you ever had a un crispy outside with a pillowy soft inside the add fully loaded with satay beef with all the toppings peppers jalapeño peppers carrot pickles cucumber a tasty sauce and butter. Was very good today's pick great. Would we come back...
