The Curry Capital — Restaurant in Alberta

This quickly became my favourite restaurant in Wainwright, AB from my very first order. Today was my first time dining in the restaurant, I have been ordering take away since they opened (and have been impressed each and every time). The food was phenomenal as always, but if you haven’t dined in the restaurant yet I highly recommend that you do. Not only a friendly and courteous environment, everyone was so helpful and accommodating. I tried the Aloo Tikki and the Chana Masala, these are now my new favourite dishes! If you haven’t tried The Curry Capital yet because you find the spice level of Indian food too intimidating, please know that they cater to every comfort level of spice – accommodation from as hot as you can handle to not just mild but very mild as well. Everyone should try the food here, you are missing out if you don’t, you owe it to yourself and to every taste...

Man…you remember “razing the roof”? These guys didn’t just raze it. They ripped it off, tossed it to the side, and proceeded to stomp it into the ground, light it on fire (unless you’re not a fan of the heat; they can accommodate), and walk away like a Michael Bay shot. I am by no means a curry aficionado but this place might start my journey as one. I had the mango chicken tikka from the tandoor, tikka masala special (lamb), chili special (shrimp), vindaloo special (shrimp), and garlic naan. You might be thinking “Geez, that’s a lot of food” but no my friend that was over four visits. What’s your style? Mild, medium, spicy, hot (pretty sure they have super darn hot too). Let ‘em know. They will take care of it in style

What a wonderful dining experience at The Curry Capital. The food was so very delicious. It did not feel that we were eating food from a restaurant, it felt so much like home. The taste and the spices used were just so rite and it enhanced our dining experience. They wieners and staff were so friendly and very attentive. Talking of food each and every dish we ordered was delicious. Especially the Coconut Rice, Dal Makhani and Palak Paneer. Looking forward to visit again soon. Would highly recommend this little gem to one and all diners...
