Wendy's — Restaurant in Alberta

Warning to future customers!! We Came to the drive-thru 15 minutes ago at 7pm. And apparently the staff is incapable of reading the order before making it. The order was supposed to be a plain cheeseburger due to allergies and instead the staff chose to try and kill one of their customers and fully load the burger with contaminants and allergens that they were warned about when we asked for a plain cheeseburger and they did write “cheeseburger - plain” on the receipt. This is not a hard job and if the staff are not capable of performing such basic work they should be fired. Now not only has this costed us money & time but it also killed a person dear to us. This is ridiculous, when asking the speak with the manager they were absolutely rude and began speaking a different language than English. Terrible service, terrible staff, terrible management. We are incredibly disappointed and will no longer be able to trust this location as they can’t complete the basic tasks of the job they applied...

A lot of the time, their debit/credit machines are down, and they're only taking cash. In a world that, typically, no longer carries cash, you'd think this would be an issue they'd be interested in fixing. And yet for an entire week, they were cash only. Add onto that, food is served at a snails pace, so the drive through line gets a bit ridiculous. It's not my favourite fast food in Olds.

With the negative comes some positives. If you order on the app while the debit machines are down, you can still pay by card. Food is always hot and satisfying. I love getting the 6 nuggets, cause they're about $7 at mcdonald's, while they're only about $3.50 at Wendy's, and the Wendy's nuggets are actually seasoned. The staff is quite friendly as well.

Wendy's Frosty has been a summer treat for years but in Olds they are always soupy, sure not like in their plcture. Yesterday during my visit the store front was swarming with flies. When I mentioned it I was told alot of people had made that comment, but they didn't know what to do about it. I told the the server maybe take out the garbage. The front end garbage was over flowing . When ever I visit it seems to be over flowing and sometimes on the floor. This is not during peak hours. Makes me wonder about their actual...
