Restaurant Le Chardo — Restaurant in Alfred and Plantagenet

I am so dissapointed!! Their pizza years ago like 15 years ago was amazing lot's of toppings especially their vegetarian pizza!! Order pizza's on sunday!! Got the order 62,89$ The pizza was awful!! Maybe 8 olives on the medium pizza the pizza looked sick and the pizza was paper thin!! If i would of like pizza pizza i would of call there i do not encourage franchise!! But i call the waitress that took my order is the one that got to the phone when i call back i told her i want my money back and i want you to come pick up your pizza's because my in-law's were so dissapointed!! The fries was like a brick the fries were not cooked!! Full of oil!! Charle the owner told the waitress the ok to reembursed us... But this was the last time i order from them! When their father was in charge of the restaurant things were different!! Horrible pizza!!! Horrible fries!! We were visiting the in-laws we took the money and we order a pizza from north end pizza in Cornwall on our way back home!! That's the best pizza ever! Its a pick up and delivery only but its organised spick and span!! It's amazing from the crust to the toppings!! And you get a free poutine sunday to wenesday!!!! From a small pizza to x large! Le chardo you need to make drastic change in your kitchen because you will loose a lot muc more than $62 if you get your pizza return like that 4-5 times a week that is $310 out of your pocket then if it happens 4 times a month well that is 1,240$ That per year is approximately $14,880 wake up and hire people with skill in your kitchen because you will loose a lot much more than 6 customers!! If i would of been able to rate the food at no star i would of!! When you own a restaurant you need to be organised and you need a consistency in the food that is getting out of your kitchen always! Never...

I uses to love this place would go often. I give one star for the service. A month ago I came with a good friend of mine. We got there at about 9:25, we wanted to grab breakfast we didn’t get the menu for about 15min after we got there. But we already knew what we wanted. But the waitress just dropped the menu and left. She came back juste a little before 10am. (We went to try the 3.99 breakfast) important here. We order the special, I guess she knew what they were because we got 2 eggs becon and potatoes. When we came to pay it was almost 10 per person. At least that’s what I payed tips and all. Am like thats not the special is it ? She told me the order had to be put in before 10am.

Today I went back. Just to eat because I didn’t wanna cook. I waited a full 40 min with no one that came to see me. I left there was two customer in the place... I would understand if the place was full but not at all. I will not be returning.

The food taste fine but if you can even get it or they make you pay full price because they don’t wanna give you the promotion......

I came here for a gluten-free breakfast. Got eggs potato and meat, these are naturally gluten-free. I also asked for some gluten-free toasts. When the meal arrived, I noticed the toasts looked like regular gluten toasts so I mentioned it to the waitress. She reassured me they were gluten-free. But i was sure they didn’t look right so I asked the other waitress which also reassured me they were gluten-free. Since they both said the same thing I figured okay, I guess they are so I ate them. Hours later, I started to feel sick. This sickness started before I ate anything else so it’s definitely because of those toasts. When this happens, the celiac symptoms lasts for two weeks before it starts slowly getting better.
