Budabing Burgers — Restaurant in Area A (Egmont/Pender Harbour)

I visited this gem in beautiful Madeira Park on the Sunshine Coast of BC and the experience from beginning to the end was excellent. I would give 10 stars if I could. I walked up to the little window of this converted trailer surrounded by a beautifully landscaped park with picnic tables to enjoy your food. I was greeted by a smile and a hello from both the young girl working there as well as the owner. We ordered 2 burgers (one of which was the Sunshine burger which I highly recommend) and a basket of fries. Prices are reasonable and what I would expect for this type of quality. Plus, why not pump some $$ into this worthwhile small business! One small thing I noticed was when I received my change back (their debit/credit machine was down this day…good thing I had cash), I put about $2.50 in the Tips can and I received a smiley "Thank You" from both the young girl working there as well as the owner! Now this is just a small gesture but who does that these days! I really loved that! (and my wife and I talk about this all the time when you leave a tip at so many places these days, nobody says a single thing about it and I think that is just plain wrong). Anyway, we waited about 10 minutes for our food and when it arrived I was impressed with the presentation. Everything about this meal was carefully prepared…the brioche bun wasn't too doughy, the lettuce & tomato was perfectly crisp and fresh, the meat looked very juicy and grilled nicely, the sauce oozing out the side a bit, and the pickle! Wow that pickle was delicious pinned on top of the bun. The fries couldn't be any better…they looked hand cut, skin on and perfectly fried with the perfect amount of seasoning. We enjoyed this immensely. I know this review is long, but this business deserves a great review due to the owner's attention to detail. They even offer a very cool and funny brochure which he gave me after I told him how great his food is. I noticed they offer a "suspended burger program" for a $5 donation which they save for future hot lunches for those who need it. When you go there, ask for the brochure…it's worth the read. So thank you Budabing for this great experience…you deserve a pat on the back for the love and care you put into this place.

Best burger joint I’ve visited in a long time! My hubby got the Sunshine burger and I got the CodFather burger. They were both amazing. Best fish burger I’ve ever had! We only ordered one side of fries and split them, and it was more than enough. The dining area around the burger truck is cute while displaying several picnic tables surrounded by a wildflower garden strung with lights. It was very peaceful! We had to wait 40 minutes for our food, but we were notified by the friendly staff before we ordered so it was no problem for us. The food was well worth the wait! I hope to come back someday and I’d recommend this place to...

If you are craving burgers this place is definitely worth it! Have been disappointed with most the restaurants in the coast but didn't have the heart to leave bad reviews cause ppl are struggling in Covid times.

Service was fast, pleasant and efficient. Placed my order got a few things at IGA and it was ready in a few minutes. Nice and hot.

Got the sunshine burger and fries with gravy. The burger definitely hit the spot. The bacon on it was perfection and the burger was juicy and well seasoned... The gravy is flavourful and fries tasted fresh and natural. Cant wait to try the peanut butter jelly one...
