Local family owned and run business by the young and beautiful Veronika. Seven years in business. The coffee bistro was first brewed in the parking lot in a mini start-up. In early 2023, the business moved into the mall and offer an air-conditioned environment. Customers can sit in the restaurant or a take and go experience. The decor is clean with a modern vibe. Locally sourced custom blend coffee brewed in-house along with fresh baked goodies. Baking starts at 6am and the coffee house opens at 8am. Popular with morning commuters are coffee and their choice of hot scones. They offer regular and specialty coffee, Gelato, hot chocolate, milkshakes, cookies, muffins, treat bars, sandwiches, salads, and lunch options. A special treat twice a week is freshly baked donuts. Don't miss this local experience, you won't be disappointed. Open mon-sat 8am-5pm, Sun 9-4 pm

As a regular customer of Bru-Go’s, i can fully confirm that this is one of my favourite spots on the island to get morning coffee. Besides the shop itself being a sleek modern yet highly comfortable setting in itself, the staff who work there are above exceptional. Kind, caring, funny are just some of the many words to describe these amazing people, and that doesn’t even scratch the surface. The drinks and food are delicious, made fresh and with lots of care. I highly recommend the iced chai latte with their pumpkin scone (which is there year round), or, if you’re looking for a sweet treat, Belgian brownie or feature sandwich cookie. Ultimately Bru-Go’s coffee is the gem of mill bay and the key to a successfully caffeinated morning. I love the team and have no doubts you will too.

Really cute little coffee shop that I would wanna come back and become a regular at if I were in the area more. They've got a lot of cool and unique things on the menu in addition to your typical sugar cookie and scones. We tried the peanut butter protein bar and orange ricotta cake. They also had healthy-sounding/looking items like their flax roll and hedgehog. Would've loved to try more. They have coffee merch too, clean and spacious seating. Clean washrooms. Can't complain. Unfortunately we wolfed the food down too quickly to take a photo.

Bru-Go's has been our favorite coffee place, since we discovered it while on our way to the doctor. They are the only ones who make pumpkin spice anything that isn't too sweet. Their blended drinks are incredible; who knew a blended cappuccino could taste so good?! We've tried several of their featured drinks--aloha latte and oat foam cold brew come to mind--and their baked goods are just as incredible. Nobody else sells a brownie with frosting that is chocolaty but isn't so sweet that your teeth hurt. Plus, they were one of the first coffee shops on the lower island to offer Oat milk.

A few days ago, we stopped it before a long drive up island and didn't realize till we were north of Nanaimo that they had forgotten to give us the scones we'd ordered. No biggie, even though we were looking forward to them, they were swamped while we were there. Anyway, today my husband goes in to pick up coffee, and the owner recognized him and remembered that they'd forgotten the scones. He was floored.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good coffee and baked goods. Plus, they also sell gifts and whatnot from other island businesses, so supporting this coffee shop also helps support other local businesses....

Really aesthetic little cafe with delicious coffee and food. Was so surprised to find this little gem in Mill Bay, I usually only drive past. We were quite surprised by the amount of treats and food options were available! More than your average coffee shop. As people who prefer to eat mostly plants, we were stoked to find some vegan donuts! They had classic glazed, raspberry filled and maple apple as vegan options and they were insanely delicious! Now I regret knowing this because I will surely pop in for a donut way too often. Oh no. The coffee was really delicious, the oat milk was super frothy and yum.. the only thing was that all drinks were served in a paper cup. Not fun, and super wasteful. I highly recommend serving your cups and food in real cups and plates, it really does change the whole experience and allow people to feel instantly welcomed. I also recommend trying the vegan blt from working culture in victoria and offering a similar vegan option in your coffee shop.. make it so good that everyone raves about it! Ok...

Five months ago, i sent a review about the inaccessibility of the bathroom for people with disabilities. I was told they have a more accessible bathroom but it was just unfortunately not available that time as they were undergoing work. Well 5 months later again the bathroom is still not accessible. I tried to explain my simple needs to the managers onsite but they were only interested in talking about building codes. A handicap sticker for the larger bathroom and a very bassic simple grab bar would cost less than $77 to accommodate persons with mobility issues. I left a message on their website and they did not even contact me. Here I feel disrespected and unheard. I am taking this to heart for all of us neefing support. I have been using a small scooter for 5 years and this is the very first time I have not been able to use the bathroom and received no...
