The food is amazing! Better than Heratige Indian cuisine is Duncan! The Fish Pakora is a must try if your new and the Beef Tiki Masala was made to perfection. The Chicken Tikka was so moist and full of flavor and the Tandoori Chicken was perfect. The Mint sauce they make is so delicate and a perfect addition to the chicken and fish. There Veg Samosas is comes as 2 to a order and perfect sized for 3 people, the owner was so pleasant to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed. My negatives to eating in would be the drink options are very small to choose from and it would be nice to have ice water with a meal instead of buying water. I personally will be going back multiple times to try there entire menu. I have read some of the other reviews..like it's to far away?? Come on ppl it's a short drive from duncan to get there and you know it's worth it... Another was there mild is still spicy.. we ordered the mild and agreed it was a little spicy..but who really likes bland food?? Not me. If you haven't tried this place it's worth the try.. Happy Eating 😊 everyone

They can make quite a few dishes vegan. I got the Chana Masala and Garlic & Herb Naan. Very authentic flavouring. The mild is quite spicy but I really enjoyed everything. Not the best location but the inside is pretty nice. The owner is also pleasant to speak with. One suggestion I would make is to make the menu more clear that the dishes do not come dairy free and gluten free but you can get them like that.

Finally tried this place and glad I did! Got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and it did not disappoint. The meat is really tender and the sauce is full of spice and flavour. Recommend trying it out.

Hands-down some of the best Indian food on Vancouver Island. For me personally, I’d dare to say that it’s the best I’ve had - anywhere!! I’ve tried multiple dishes on their menu and I’ve never been anywhere close to disappointed.

Highly Recommended.

This is a small family run local business, and it is busy! Be patient with your order as the result is most certainly worth the relatively short wait. Chef Bhom Singh’s talent is a very welcome contribution to our community. He often interacts directly with his customers and is super friendly, just a great human being!

On one occasion, I was in a bit of a rush and I wasn’t able to wait for service as they were extremely busy. So, I quietly left the building… but -not- quietly enough! Despite how busy he was, Chef Singh still chased me into the parking lot, very apologetic and clearly upset that he wasn’t able to serve me in a timely manor. His dedication to the highest quality of service and his genuine concern for his valued customers is clear and will keep me and my family returning for ā€œMOREā€, for years to come.

Just stop in already!! You wont...

We were greeted by a very friendly child who will no doubt one day make for a fantastic host in his own right. The food was delicious and speedy and so flavorful and filling. We started with veg pakora and these may have been the best we’ve had on Van Isle so far, and we’ve eaten Indian for lunch every day. The build-your-own curry section was very well thought out and easy to order from. I had paneer spinach curry (basically saag paneer I think) so scrumptious, wonderfully flavored without being spicy (I ordered mild). My boyfriend ordered the chicken tikka masala, his favorite, and it did not disappoint. We both finished our plates! And wiped them clean with spinach and paneer naan, which was absolutely fantastic. I’ve never had that before and it was really crispy and tasty and filling.

The family running the place was friendly and took good care of us. The bathroom was clean, the parking was easy, and the menu provided so many options to choose from it was hard to pick just one dish each, especially for a vegetarian. 10/10...
