Cirque Restaurant And Bar — Restaurant in Area A (Upper Flathead/Elk Valley)

We ate at Cirque three times on our trip, twice for breakfast and once for lunch, and we enjoyed craft cocktails at the bar multiple times. All aspects were exceptional every time. The pancakes on the breakfast menu are decadent with toasted coconut and fresh berries. One of my most favorite breakfast meals I have had out. My husband got the traditional breakfast both times and was impressed with the portion and how perfectly the eggs were cooked. We snowboarded for a few hours before deciding we wanted to have lunch and the weather was gorgeous to sit on the patio and have a drink with our lunch. We had the bison poutine and a margherita pizza and both were delicious. We tried a great majority of their special cocktail menu because we enjoyed talking to our bartender from Holland and his craft at making drinks! He makes a mean espresso martini but my favorite drink was probably the "slippery ascent" which was like a spicy margarita, except made beautiful! My husband and I went for dinner here last night and were very disappointed. I ordered the caeser salad with no bacon, I told the server I don’t eat meat and haven’t for 12 years. When our food comes, a couple bites in I find a piece of bacon in my mouth. I spit it out, and let the server know. I ordered something else which took forever to come. My husband was done his food by the time mine came. I’m already feeling a bit ill and annoyed from eating the bacon but I didn’t want to ruin the night. We order dessert and then get the bill wrapped up. Our bill was just over $180. When the server comes to take our payment she says sorry for the bacon, we made sure to discount your bill for the inconvenience. THE DISCOUNT WAS $8! Had a fantastic time at Cirque attending our Son's Wedding. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Braised Bison Short Ribs for Entree and if they have the Bison Ragu on special menu go for it, the Bison is so tender. I tried a couple of their own cocktails from the bar and wish I had got the recipes (I might email and ask nicely for them!) they won't disappoint.
