4 stars for the food and experience. 4 of us did the Sunday 7 course with wine pairing. It was great to learn about a local winery and to be educated on the wines you were drinking. Id advise anyone doing the Sunday seating to not eat a heavy lunch. By the 5th course it was getting difficult to finish our plates. Six Degree Bistro loses one star for their service. The sparkling white wine on arrival is a nice touch but our non-drinking friends were not offered an alternative. Same when the bread came out. Nice crusty bread for us but no alternative offered for our friends (despite pre-warning of dietary requirements). As for the food, unfortunately I chose badly. My starter was centered around a big piece of semi-cooked beetroot, my main consisted of a nice piece of slow-cooked beef but was so salty, it was near inedible. I’ve had better backyard bbq food. WineAbout $350 of the bill. 8 tiny glasses all up 1 with each course. Overpriced wine from a region that doesn’t export outside of BC let alone Canada. They could at least give a more generous glassful of the rubbish wine. Instead it was barely 2 mouthfuls. The place was good. Cosy with good ambiance. Toilets were clean and the...
