Most of the time the counter service is okay. Although I must say I rarely get a please or thank you from staff. Nor do I get a response to my please and thank you.
Anyway yesterday at around 3pm was the worst interaction. The place was fairly quiet. I'm the only person in line. There's one counter service guy serving an elderly gentleman with a cane. The customer asks the guy if he will help him carry his tray of drinks and 2 boxes of timbits and various donuts for him. I'm thinking great, what a nice thing to do. So as the counter service person is walking by me with the gentleman's stuff, he makes eye contact with me and says nothing. Seriously? So I say excuse me, can someone take my order? So he calls out to another staff member to cover the counter. Really? What is wrong with you?
Edited to add.....I ordered at farmers wrap and the hash brown was beyond crispy. As in parts were hard as rock. I took it off the sandwich bc i didn't want to break a tooth. Honestly it was that hard. I did not complain to staff because I was just over it. This location...
Read moreIm very disappointed to say that Tim Hortons is no longer what it used to be. I went in today to get a crispy chicken habanero bowl around noon and this is what I received. As you can probably see in the photo, the bowl is barely filled up and the section where the rice is supposed to be there was barely any rice. Having worked at another Tim Hortons location myself in the past this is not standard on how much rice they should be putting in the bowls. If we did this at my old Tim’s, the mangers would get mad because you’re supposed to serve the customers the right portion for how much they’re paying! If I’m paying a good amount I expect a good portion of food in return. The employees need to stop being stingy with their portions when they have no problem charging you for it. You pay for something, you should receive what you payed for and not this. This picture isn’t even angled the greatest but in person this bowl was super disappointing to look at when I opened it. Stop being stingy and train your...
Read moreWinston the employee was screaming at me and giving me attitude because he got my order wrong. Instead of just fixing the orders he chose to stand in the drive through window blocking the other staff who were trying to ask what the order was. This is NOT the first time he has done this. He has had a temper tantrum before when he got my order wrong. He screams, yells, shouts, denies he did it and causes a huge scene. Not only is this embarrassing but completely unnecessary. He is extremely unprofessional and rude and I can not believe that he is still employed there as he is so rude. I believe he is racist also as he is an African Canadian male and my daughter is half black. Whenever I come through the drive through with her he behaves as above. I have come by myself and he has been kind. Tin Horton’s needs to address this as I have the right to file a Human Rights Complaint based on his behavior and I don’t wanted to be verbally abused when an employee simply makes a mistake on my order....
