I went through the drive through and asked for a plant based box. They informed me that they didn’t have the plant based box, only the sandwich so I had said that was fine and I would just have the plant based sandwich. When I got home I realized they had given me a chicken sandwich not a plant based sandwich. I checked the receipt and found that they had rung in a chicken sandwich as well, not a plant based one. I called to inform them they had made a mistake and that it was incredibly negligent to give someone real chicken when they asked for a vegetarian alternative. At times many people who don’t eat meat regularly would be unable to tell if it was meat or not before biting into it. If someone did not recognize a mistake like this they could have evaded their moral values, religious or dietary restrictions by eating the sandwich (not an issue for all but for many this is a big deal). The manager then started arguing with me saying that the person who took my order thought I wanted a chicken sandwich (even after they managed to tell me they don’t have a plant based box only the sandwich so they obviously knew I had said I wanted a vegetarian alternative). The manager started exclaiming that they couldn’t have judged that I was a vegetarian based on my appearance and therefore did not know I would be unable to eat a real chicken burger. She kept screaming “you’re acting like we did this on purpose” which I found incredibly unprofessional as all I was asking was for them to be more careful as they took orders (I said I didn’t want any compensation just for them to be mindful of what they gave their customers). Regardless of whether or not I was a vegetarian if I asked for a vegetarian burger I should have gotten what I ordered not what they perceived I would eat. I bought their Famous Chicken Sandwich along with their popcorn chicken and a chicken slider on DECEMBER 3rd 2024 at around 4: 40 Pm through the drive through. I took my first bite from the Famous Chicken Sandwich and good lord that was the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had. It tasted spoiled and I am damn sure that it was not fresh. I went back to the drive through again to let the staff know about my concern and the way the two staff/ supervisor at the store treated me was way horrible than the burger. First, they didn't apologise for the error THEY MADE; second, they made me feel like it was my fault the burger tasted bad; even the bun was so soggy and they kept telling me, that's how it tasted. I' ve been living in Canada almost my whole life and man, that's not how their burgers tasted like. Then after almost getting in an argument, I asked for a refund and they offered me another FRESH Famous Chicken Sandwich. Not sure what Black Magic they did in the kitchen, the staff got me another sandwich in 'LESS THAN A MINUTE' . From what I know, It should take 8- 15 mins to cook the chicken patty and when I told them that, the staff at the drive through window kept telling me it was a fresh one in a rude tone. Just like I thought the sandwich tasted like GARBAGE. Either the staff there doesn't know the word 'fresh' or they are too lazy to make a new sandwich. The only burger that I liked from KFC was the famous Chicken Sandwich and you guys made sure I don't come back for more. Neither my friends or family will be visiting this store as well. He stood there for over 5 minutes and was ignored by the staff. None of them even looked at him as he stood at the counter waiting for service. He came outside and told me that only the drive-thru customers were being served. So we went to the drive-thru. I told our order to the young man. We ordered a Big Box 4 Piece Meal, and a Kentucky Flatbread $5 Fill-up. I specified that I wanted the spicy chicken on my flatbread, homey mustard sauce for the popcorn chicken and a Pepsi to drink. When we got to the window we paid. I could see through the window that there was a lot of litter on the floor, including wrappers and receipts. We waited several minutes for our order to be ready and I didn't notice them putting any sauce in the bag. When he handed me the bag he asked if I wanted ketchup and I said no but is there any sauce for the popcorn chicken in the bag? He asked what kind and I told him honey mustard. He then placed it in the bag, handed it to me and closed the window. I had to knock on the window to get his attention and asked for my drink. He responded with what kind did you want.
